had my HF order arrive had my brithday pressie from my youngest brother arrive and Ive just been told that my lovely wife has booked a feed the penguins encounter day for me in september :
I remember when I was in the Falklands and went to visit 'Sealion Island'. While I was there, I was living about 50 yards from a massive penguin colony (with 3 different sorts of penguin) and can really appreciate why people find them so interesting...they just have a comic, wobbly charm about them...especially when the chicks are pottering about. I had completely wild penguin chicks pecking at my boots while I was there. Nature has a way of humbling you .

He said the only thing he is looking forward to are the wildlife-watching opportunities
What makes me happy today is my son eating for the first time in over a week. He is currently in hospital and came off his drip yesterday. It seems that he has started making those small steps to recovery...I am very glad.
