Of course, what would top that would be if the AA guy could just flick a switch to fix everything, and then go "all too easy".

Randomly seeing pictures of my sculpts when I'm not expecting them. I was very excited to see one of my sculpts getting a mention in the On The Table vidcast yesterday morning  :D

ahhh...the Strider!  I saw it but thought it worked a bit like TGN (you let them know about releases) so I didn't think to mention it.

Well...it is worthy of a mention !

What makes me happy?  deciding to put some 15mm WIPs up in my blog and having 2 miniatures companies contact me!  What makes it even more of a shock is that the sculpts were little more than blobs on sticks at the time!

I'm using the NZ auction site "trademe" but you need to be either a kiwi or ozzy to use it. Still the same thing happens. I guess it proves the old saying correct, good things come to those who wait. It was the game Fallout 3 by the way. :boing: :boing:

The Game of the Year edition's out soon, but yes, it will eat your life.

It's not as bad for that as The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion though.

My son's birthday.  He had a Chuck E. Cheese party.  But for the price, and the over stimulation and the noise, and the frustrations?

It's all worth it when driving him home to hear him say, "Mom?  Dad?  I had an awesome birthday."

I'm still alive! (barely).
Had to face a choice the other day. Get down on the tubestation with no guessing what might happen or turn left to the shrink. Made the right choice. On sickleave. They call it "burned out". Four years of working with kids that constantly abuse you, throw things at you and hit you while all the way having to be extremely understanding about it takes its toll...

Congrats :D

Being an emotional punchbag does get to you. You usually seem fine until it all gets too much and you just flip. Well done for catching it soon enough.

Finding out that I'm going to be a Dad again.

Double Congrats :boing:
