Getting to meet my new girlfriend for the first time this Saturday
Hope it went well and all, but I'm confused. If you haven't met her, how's she your girlfriend? Or were you just really confident you'd pull? :)

Internet things (I suspect).

I can understand you not getting it, given your age...

Ben, we met on an online dating agency website and we've been communicating for almost two months before deciding to meet in person.

Ashley is just perfect. We are so very happy together. I showed this photo of her on my blog but not everyone on this forum follows my blog so here she is again. I feel very blessed and very lucky to have her as my girlfriend.

LOL! Yes, I have and let me reassure you, Ashley is definitely 100% female.
When we hooked up I certainly hit the jackpot. She's 11 years younger than me and is part French (from her mother) so she speaks with a very sexy French accent. She comes from Glasgow but lives with me now. I must admit that God moves in mysterious ways. As Brandlin rightly said, I'm a gamer (and a geek!) but good fortune has shone upon me.

I am enjoying being an argumentative little wotsit :)

I have been arguing with a guy on another forum about recasting and it has been fun.

I love it when you say "I am against recasting unless there are really mitigating circumstances (like the item being long OOP, stupid money on e-bay, you are not re-selling, it is for your personal use... and if asked you are up-front about it... that sort of thing)" and someone says "Recasting is evil and should never be done under any circumstances"... but then says "well... I did recast a couple of banner poles but that was to finish off a model..."

HA!

I personally don't do it at all and was just 'playing' with an argument.

Yes... I realise I am a bad person :D...

I just found it fun :)

I bet that person is on another forum saying, I just like being argumentative... And thought they were joking around with you...  :silly

I hope so... then we've both had fun :)

(I don't actually enjoy upsetting people... I just don't like it when someone begins bleating at someone for being a 'naughty boy' when they are as guilty of the same practice as the person they are bleating at).

Our cat that had an operation this morning will be ok.  She should be home on Boxing Day.

Welcome back, Penfold.  I haven't painted in months either.

Yesterday, I put together two more tiny Patlabors, finally.  The Type-0 and the Reactive Armor type.  One more to go.  Ingram 2 with command car.  Hopefully I can get the last one done soon, then get pictures of them all.

Welcome back pen fold. Sorry to hear of your troubles. We might all be odd, but we'll always be here for one of our own. So pull up a chair and have a natter. Grek wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
