Quick update from Ian at Fenris who has foolishly agreed to undertake the job of casting the Dragon for you all. Weather here in the UK is not helping out in terms of Dragon casting:
"Hi Andy
Quick update....
Still waiting on main supply of newplast for the big wing moulds (posted
the day before the snow, now sitting in a Parcelforce depot somewhere in
the UK...) but have been working through the rest of the pieces with
what materials I do have in stock. Head & neck are done and should
(hopefully) see test castings today/tomorrow. Pics to follow as soon as
they're worth looking at

Still got snow on the ground here, expect you're the same. Van has been
snowed in since last Tuesday, so still walking to work. All adds to the
fun....apparently. Cold weather is buggering up mould cure
times....resin generates itsown exotherm so still sets reasonably well
at approx 15 degrees (the best I can get the workshop up to at the
minute) but rubber is taking 18 hours to cure hard rather than the
normal 6-8. I always seem to get big casting jobs at the time of year
when the weather least suits it...two years back it was giant pub signs
for greene king brewery, last year 9' tall flake for Cadbury World.
C'est la guerre.....
Cheers mate
Ian"
