Sir Roger is like Kenny from South Park. I originally intended to have him being killed by every monster I made. He'll probably be being eaten by the giant I'm planning after the Dragon, too.

But would he provide the minty freshness that a Polo would? :lalala:

I'd snap the odd horn anyway.  I will have to own one of these eventually Andy seeing it again closed the deal, count on an order from me when I can sneak it past the missus.

My problem as well. I don't think I can use the well worn excuse of "I've always had this shiny new miniature, he was up in the attic". i'm going  to have to think of a cunning plan.

Oh man.  That is some good stuff.  I'm definitely going to get this guy.  I told myself some time ago that I'd only get 1 BIG dragon for my collection.  Heresy is it.

Andy, can we pay for the whole thing yet?
I've got the cash ready and waiting and if I don't spend it on the Dragon soon, something else will eat it up, like car insurance

You can pay for the whole thing if you really want to, the extra deposit amounts are on the site already. (Shipping wil be charged extra when it's done and dusted)

As to current prgoress, I have removed the spines for casting purposes. This was not easy. Nor was it neat. So that's a bit of a setback but one that had to be made.

Sort of. I'm currently re-evaluating the toes as they aren't sculpted very well at all.

When I say re-evaluating, I mean I ripped them off on friday and am resculpting them entirely.

I've also butchered it, hacking out the double-row of spines that runs the length of the neck and body, as they would cause massive problems for the moulding process. I didn't enjoy doing that. Now I have to resculpt the spines quite a bit to repair them and make them a separate part entirely.

Just wondering if there is any updates on this? Words or pictures, it's all good. I've started a new management job, and love me a good (or in this case, excellent) dragon. More and more tempted to lay down a deposit, but think i'll wait for a firmer release date first.

Still doing toes.

As to deposits: lay 30 down now and you get the 100 price. The moment I get a release date, is the moment I also get to work out how much the proper price is, and from that point on everyone else can kiss goodbye to 100, most likely. Those who have reserved already will be the only ones to get the 100 price.

That is going to be one great looking dragon when it it finished. I guess I am going to have to put that down now on my shopping cart with everything else I want to get.

I guess I should ask this, would it be a problem prepaying for this model with my order that I am doing right now or would it be better to do it separately due to shipping?

OK...I have succumbed!!   :lalala: :lalala:

I have just put down the first deposit on a Dragon!

I have tried for a long time not to (not that hard when you have zero income!!) and not even look... But now I am back in the world of wonderful employment, it is only fair I shuffle the economy around a bit and purchasing the dragon is a good reason!

I CANT WAIT - I understand I will have to, no worries!

OMG I CANT WAIT *ahem*

 oooooooh its fab and I cannot wait.

OK, so it looks like that is all my brain is allowing me to think so until I can think of constructive and interesting things... OMG THIS IS SO EXCITING... now, how to justify this to hubby....

so it turns out we have not given up the hobby after all........
