I can guarantee they won't be covered in individual scales, though!

And yes, there will be more dragons after this one. I have ideas for at least three more, if not seven. It's a matter of time though, obviously!

I think I can speak for most of us (or at least everyone that has ordered a dragon already  ) that we'll be very interested in seeing what new dragons you can come up with, if there anything like the first is turning out then many of us will invest again, but at the moment I just want to see one finished!

...and yep, sounds like leathery skin is the way to go for future dragons, but I reckon' the time and effort on the scales will be more than worth it for this guy. He will be a classic.

Aye, at this rate it does look like you might snuff it of old age well before you get to release it.  :yup:

Exciting news from Salute - the dragon is almost entirely castable. I need to remove all the spines though or it will eat moulds at an unimaginable speed. So It looks like if I can get two solid weeks of work in, it'll be ready to go.
If!
Only slight problem is I need to sort out my house to get it ready to sell ASAP now Salute is out of the way! I've got 40,000 of debt to make a dent in!

That's a huge amount of debt. No doubt though the dragon should sort a bit of that out. Great news about it almost being castable

does that mean you'll cast the spines separately or you'll be selling a spineless dragon?

Just out of curiosity, can someone ID the knight figure standing looking up at it in the photo above?

:metoo: It am what him said.

It's a new sculpt of Sir Roger the Lucky, he of my first ever monster-sculpt fame, in which he appears being ripped in half by HM001 Manbane the Minotaur

But with a better outfit that looks less like some sort of camp medieval boyband.

Good photo that, but I notice he's lost a horn somewhere. Best check to see that it's still in the box now  :?

I should point out for my own ego's benefit that that dragon is not being held together by any glue or anything, apart from a small magnet in the tail. The parts just fit together really well!

I'd snap the odd horn anyway.  I will have to own one of these eventually Andy seeing it again closed the deal, count on an order from me when I can sneak it past the missus.

If it's the same Roger, did he get stitched back together or did he run away from the dragon and smack into the minotaur? Judging by the minotaurs height, rogers height, and that sharp helmet. I'd be pretty annoyed if he hit into me. Loin cloths don't provide the same protection as a box.
Sorry I just need the back story.
