Andy do you have any newer pics of where you are on the WIP of the Dragon?

Not just yet. I have ordered a couple of really good, really bright, daylight bulbs and a light tent to photo the dragon in, I also intend to take a few days off next week and sit down to some sculpting; I've had a lot of stuff to sort out this week, and I only just caught up on the orders today after salute.

FYI, the daylight bulbs are these ones:
http://www.stevesphotoshop.co.uk/daylight_fluorescent_bulb_5000k_50w.html

Should fit into regular desklamps unless I'm being a prannit (A word my wife uses, which I have just googled and found to be in actual usage) and have just spent forty quid on things that need specialist lamps to hold them...

I also found a really bright daylight lamp on this site (prices exc vat, BTW) (UK voltage only)

http://www.rapidonline.com/Electrical-Power/Elect-Prod-Lighting/Lighting/Twin-fluorescent-bench-lamp/66832/kw/86-3356?source=googleps&utm_source=googleps

It's expensive compared to a desk lamp at 87.00 but you're getting the equivalent of 150W of daylight, and the RRP is supposed to be 130, so it's actually a bit cheaper than you'd expect.

Thanks for the update Andy. I wish I lived in the UK. With my current situation I definitely have the time to help you out.

This dragon is definitively the coolest I've ever seen, all categories. I'm quite sure I'm going to buy one, can't promise I'll pre-order it though. As usually, it's the economy that makes the final decision. :x

OK, peeps. An updated pic or two on the WIP page for the Dragon now. Been a long, dull week. If you've been following me on Twitter, you will already know the details.

That is fantastic....  :drownindrool: cant wait to hold it!
Will the rock be part of the cast?
I like the way he has no unnecessary bulk, he's quite slim.

Will put another deposit on soon as I can...

Good progress, Andy. :)  I'm interested in having a closer look at the texture on the back of the 'shank'.

See Andy? It's got a nickname already. In the far future when geeks are huddled together over a sticky round table with wobbly legs in a CAMRA pub discussing what rare minis they darkly desire they won't refer to Heresy's "Angrammarron - Grand Dragon of Doom" or whatever you decide to call it in the end. It'll be the McDragon uttered in the same hushed tones as the Chicken Dragon. And I'm sure in your facilities somewhere, as you sit on your 46 part resin throne (ordered from Fenris) and order your badly burned Albanian children to rustle up the next casting run of Big Boris mark 34(b) or it's no bubblegum pie for them, you'll smile with accomplishment.

Now get on with them wings

Yep.  Alright.  Finally convinced me to put a deposit down.

Haven't bought a dragon in years, but this one's finally gone beyond just temptation.  Looks excellent, just excellent.

Love it, will put down a deposit soon, painting a commision which will pay for it atm, should be fun, the dragony-est dragon I've seen, fits with my mental image perfectly. And I like the lower horns too :)

Andy - Just wondering, as I will soon have enough money to pay another deposit, how much should we pay you in total? Up to 100? Or should we just leave it at the second 30 for now? Just incase I have enough to do more than one...
