Indeed. I'm gonna paint mine red and call him Shratak Eternalflame, who happens to be the father of all (red) dragons in my home-made fantasy setting.
I'm thinking about it, but now I can't decide between red, black, golden.

im tempted... oh so tempted....

But I mainly wargame with mine and unfortunately... dwarfs and Lizardmen dont use dragons!

maybe I will start a Wood elf army and this can be my lords mount. if thats the case mine is likely to be green.

I just saw on the heresy home page that the dragon may be completed for Salute!

If I'm reading that wrong then let me know but does this mean that we'll be seeing the final version shortly (the next couple of weeks) and those of us preordering will be needing to get the rest of the cash over to you?

I'm trying to work out how much cash I need to keep available for my post-salute splurge on FoD companies - gotta sell some oldie Citadel stuff to make way for the new toys!  :wry:

I was going to moan at you lot to stop reviving this topic until Andy has an update for us, I can't take the emotional rollercoaster of seeing an update and then having my hopes dashed when no new drool-worthy images appear.
But this is a good question.
So I won't :D

I'll be bringing the dragon (once I've re-attached its various limbs) for you to look at and maybe even a small amount of pre-release castings if all goes according to plan during the next week.
I don't think the pre-release castings are necessarily of the dragon. I could be wrong, though.  :scratchhead:

Well, I was hoping to have done more on the Dragon and also to bring along some pre-release castings of the next batch of metal figs, but it's just not working out that way. I've only got one mould left that I could use to make a new production mould of the metal masters I have, and no money to my name to spend on more until after salute. So you'll get to see the dragon WIP, Dr ecclescake and a blight musician, and some masters of the next releases (out after salute) but not be able to buy any of those same figs on the day, sorry.

Will be good to see some new stuff on the day, will folks be able to pre-order or register interest on the stand?

I know Andy will be very busy, so someone please take some good pictures of these for the rest of us who can't go to the show.

Indeed, it's a lovely dragon. I was also hoping to win the 500 (obviously) to get a royal shedload of Heresy, Hasslefree and Twilight figures, but alas...

"Blight musician"? Well, that sounds good to me!

It was quite impressive. :)
Which might sound odd because it was perched just below the revolving stand holding the dragon.

The 2 other greens were amazing too, didn't take pics sorry. The blight musician is top notch and the Dr was a good resemblance.

Not-Ecclestone looked really very good, even in the presence of the awe inspiring dragon!

I thought Dr Ecclescake looked awesome. Andy's really nailed the look of his face, it's a bang on likeness.
And I will probably succum to a dragon at some point (although it'll probably be a dust catcher because I don't actually play anything that I could use it in, other than maybe WFQ when the characters are stupidly powerful!)
