Congratulations on finally slaying the dragon.

It's sad that such a great piece of work became such a burden.

9,000 word tale of the last 6 dragon-blighted years, or as much as I can remember beyond the howling despair.

Also read it. Most insightful and humbling.
I hope your detractors take the time to read and fully appreciate the scale (no pun intended) of the effort and turmoil it caused you in both your business and private life.

May the next 6 years and 8 months see Heresy prosper beyond your expectations.

Steve

Funnily, after having read it yesternight, I listened to some music. The first song was Axel Rudi Pell's "I will survive". This is its chorus:

I will survive,
I've been down on my knees too long
I will survive,
I'll get back on my feet again
I will survive,
I've been holding on too long
I will survive, I will rise up,
'cause tomorrow is already gone

It was one of those "something in the universe has just clicked into place" moments.

So, we know they're out there.  Where are all the pictures of finished and in progress dragons?  We won't judge, we just want to see.

Before you tell me to post mine, I couldn't afford one.

I reckon pestering of a grav bike magnitude might work ;)

I don't think it will.

I doubt that there is very much in the world that would re-ignite that production line again...

... apart from paying for all of the bills it caused in the first place and then paying all of the production costs (including a wage that was based on the original levels of stress caused)... I think we'd be talking of millions of pounds :o

What Mr Inso said! I REALLY wouldn't recommend the pestering option...

There may be a few imperfect dragons at Salute, they just need double checking and packing. I think last year we had 2 imperfect dragons and sold them both. So come see us early folks.

Does depend if we get time around resin casting, blistering and other Salute related chaos. And casting Madame for the KS backers of course!

Pestering never really worked for me before lol...

I do think that maybe my sarcasm/irony was misguided/misunderstood.

Sorry :-/

I know you have both followed the dragon saga from the start so I was fairly sure not serious.  :D
If anyone reading this has a million pounds for a dragon feel free to pester!

Did I mention that we might have some imperfect dragons at Salute.  And new stuff as well!

:D Sarcasm is hard to read in print. Hmm, would love to get to Salute but flights from NZ are kind of expensive.

My dragon is mostly built. And a few time I have placed it on the table I have noticed that since it's so to heavy, that it tips really easy. What have others done to help correct this from happening? I was kind of thinking of drilling out the rock and inserting something to give it weight.

Glue it to a steel plate base?

I always assumed people would mount it on a photoframe or plinth or an old clock that they could decorate with rocks etc. The rock itself was never really intended to be the ultimate base for the model!

Sure is, not intending to remake the big moulds needed to make the torso, rock and wings. I'd sooner make a comepltely new dragon first! (I am not making one in secret, before anyone assumes that I am! But if i was, it would definitely remain secret until finished and moulded!)
