Yours is 5th in the queue. I love it when people who ask are within sight. Should be ready by the weekend.

My Dragon arrived today here in Canada!

Very excited. Everything looks to be in good shape. No damage spotted. Candies look delicious.

My thanks to Andy and his perseverance in sticking with this dragon project through all these years.

Well done Andy!

Still plugging away at the dragons, but also trying to mould kickstarter stuff and get that rolling. Next dragon to be cast will be number 138, but excitingly, (for me and new minion Dan, who has been rather plunged into the deep end of the Dragon pool and is unlucky enough to have to spend three hours a day cleaning out dragon moulds for me to cast new bits and then packing the actual dragons as well) in another two days I should have cast all the Dragon heads I will need to finish the queue! The first of the parts to be completely cast up...

Might be all done in a month or so if things go well. Can't even imagine it. (May have to make yet more new moulds thoguh which will slow me up)

Beastlord! I emailed you about yours a couple of weeks back, it's ready and waiting! Can you drop me a line with your new email if the old one is out of date?

Non-stop work since my last post. work, work, work, work, etc.
Now down to the last 50 or so Dragons, but have hit a weird patch where nobody seems to be answering their emails that I send them! COuld be that people have changed their emails and abandoned their old inboxes, or died or what have you, but it's very frustrating having a dozen dragons sitting on the shelf!

Being a good friend and all I'll happily receive a dragon on behalf of anyone who has decided to peg it in the meantime :D

:boing: cool. Means you'll get to sculpting loads more again and be able to put this behind you. I'm sure you will feel a huge weight off your shoulders once that final piece comes out of the mold. You're really churning them Out now though.

Yes, the day has dawned at long, long, long last. The last Dragon has been cast. The queue is cleared. The moulds have largely died, so no more are currently possible, but I may be able to scrounge a few Imperfects from the pile for sale at Salute etc. If I ever decide to do another casting run I will have to spend 100's on moulds and days making them first, which makes it highly unlikely that it will return.

I'd like to thank all those of you who patiently waited for me to get you your dragon, and I'd like to thank even more those of you who, knowing the struggles I've had with this, and the financial woes, upped the amount you paid to match the RRP (not everyone did, some refused to pay a single penny more than they had, even for shipping, and were snotty about it to boot) - I couldn't have carried on without those little extra amounts; every time someone demanded their money back it was a massive deal, for instance the angry German who had 3 dragons at 100 and when they demanded their money back, it meant I couldn't buy the equipment that would have let me double the casting speeds at the time. I won't list all the mental turmoil (had a bit of a breakdown at one point) the waking up in the middle of the nights, the long hours of thinking it would never end and so forth, I'll just say it's been hard, but here, nearly 6 years after I started sculpting it (Christmas 2009, lest we forget, on page 1 of this thread) the queue is at last cleared and I have been able to keep my word.

To those who said I wouldn't, or couldn't or worse, was deliberately lying, a rip-off merchant, a thief (that woman on here, somewhere around page 13 or somewhere?), please watch this short video:

Well done Andy.

I hope you get the opportunity to just get completely wankered and shout at the moon because, quite frankly, you deserve it.

The Dragon is the best one out there and is a thing of beauty. The fact that it got made is awesome, the fact that you have managed to drag yourself through six years of hell to fulfill all the orders is a miracle.

There is only one word I can say to sum this up and it is 'AWESOME'.

Chill out, take your break and for your chosen deity's sake, don't spread yourself so thin EVER AGAIN!

(I don't swear on this forum but just this once, I think it is a valid exception).

Congratulations! I would have loved to have had one of these but have neither the cash or the space for it.
I placed a small order on the site. I seem to have most of your fantasy stuff already.
Can't wait to see what you come up with in the future after you have taken a well deserved rest. I can only imagine what kind of a relief this must be for you.

Congratulations, at long last.  Truly admire your perseverance in the face of the catastrophicness of the whole ordeal.  I feel a small part of your joy at seeing it finally done.  I look forward to seeing the Kickstarter finished and all the toys I pledged for arrive in my mail box. :applause:

Well done Andy, for finally getting that dragon-shaped monkey off of your back.
I can't imagine the elation you must be experiencing, just glad you got there in the end!

Looking forwards to some regular new creations from Heresy (once the Kickstarter is done), now that the Heresy Dragon's reign of terror has passed.  :D

Heresy Dragon - Queue Cleared At Last. It's all over.
« Reply #1824 on: August 24, 2015, 11:28:56 AM »
Thanks, I'd be filled with elation if I weren't snowed under with debt and still have the kickstarter to clear - I'm straight back into the sculpting on that! Will post a blog about the whole thing once I've collected my thoughts and typed it all out at some point soon...
