The problem right now is everyone is too busy (all those Kickstarter projects you've been backing have booked people up for months) to cast the dragon for me, so I'm looking at doing it myself now. I've spent the weekend immersing myself in research on the pressure-casting and vacuum-degassing processes (big thanks to Ian and to Jed at Antenociti's Workshop for advice, links and info) and it looks reasonably straightforward, the main problem is a complete lack of space in my workshop.
Seriously, I can barely find space to put my cup of coffee down at the moment, my little unit is quite literally packed to the roof with stuff. There's a big unit next door to mine that would be ideal but unless I can get an extra £500 of orders a month, there's no chance of me affording it (it's twice the size of my current one, which means not only twice the money but also business rates suddenly payable as it's over 1,000 sq ft. Frustrating. A Kickstarter would solve the issue but then everyone would complain about having waited for their dragons for 3 years and put everyone else off! (Quite rightly, too, I suppose).
I may have to close shop for a month just so I can load all the pots etc into my current metal-casting working area and not have to worry about the orders side of things for that time period... must be a way around it...
