I bet it'll be 15...not that it matters to me as I would be 'done away with' by my spouse if I'd ordered one.  I would still really really really like to be able to afford one or just to see one in person.

I'll let you know what number we get up to soon, as I'm expecting the next box to arrive today. Might not get a chance to check all the bits though, it takes a lot of time and careful scurtiny and I've got to go home and tidy the house ready for a viewing tomorrow am so bit pushed today. Got to work out to fix a leaking mixer tap, for one thing.

BY the looks of it after a cursory glance, there's at least 5 dragons that are as good as it gets, no tiny holes or nothing, but there are a few miscasts here and there amongst the remaining pieces so further inspection is needed over the weekend.

18 + 5 = 23

I'm 24 doh!

I hope there's at least one more that passes scrutiny.

Hey there Andy. I tried logging into the Heresy store to check it out, but it won't recognize my email addy. I know that there's been changes to the site since I ordered the Dragon, do I have to reregister?

Yes, the old shopping cart didn't actually have customer accounts, it used cookies to remember people, so you'll need to make a new account.

Does the above mean we all have to re-register Andy or is the original list still in hand and applies mate? I'd hate to miss my turn due to a clerical error!

I have two separate lists of all the people who have paid for a Dragon - the site didn't store those anyway in the last cart version. You will need a customer account to order in futurebut I have everybody's details on the Dragon List, fear not.

I am only relaying the information I am given. Next tuesday I was told, but it didn't pan out. The dragons arrived on the friday, and Craig sent them out last week. I had thought the 5 people in question might mention it on here. 5 went out this week. The other 5 aren't quite up to scratch IMO unless you don't mind lots of tiny little air holes or miscast wing ends. Will be contacting the next few people in the list (those who only paid the 100 may be happy with this) to see if they want to wait longer or are happy to get slightly imperfect castings, which will help everyone out. Yours is one of those dragons, Richard, Would you prefer to get a slightly miscast version, or wait another week or more for Ian to send better casts to me in amongst his christmas workload for Fenris? Let me know by pm or email if you're interested, I'll take some pics of the parts in question.

Meanwhile stuff is happening behind the scenes that if I told you about, you might mistakenly assume was happening instantly. So I'm not telling you about the specifics, because there aren't really any definite ones yet, only that I am investigating how to cast resin my self to try to speed things up and that interesting rumours have reached my ears that if they come to pass - no timescale is attached, it's something in development - might radically change the industry as a whole or might be a big waste of everybody's time. Unfortunately, there's only one way to find out and that's to risk yet more money on it. In theory it could make things a LOT quicker. (It's not plastic, before anyone asks). I'm also trying to find other ways of achieving the same thing, but have been turned down by the people I approached due to their workloads.

I'm curious too. I'm guessing perhaps a new resin composition that is easier to cast with fewer drawbacks? With so many companies such as GW, Privateer Press, Mantic, Black Scorpion, Reaper, etc switching from metal to plastic/resin, to at least some degree anyway, I'd imagine that a lot of resin compositions are being experimented with for that "perfect" formula.

Of course if you're talking about something completely different, then just ignore my post.  ;)

You both get points. Ed at Trollforged is too busy to do the dragon (I will persist in begging him) and there are rumours of a new spincastable resin being worked on by certain resin suppliers. No idea what Adam's new process is over at Black Scorpion, he won't drop any hints!
