Actually, yes, I was. Something went very wrong after the show yesterday and I suddenly was wracked with uncontrollable shaking and shivering for two hours, then boiling sweating for three hours, then shivering again for two hours. I haven't slept a wink in 2 days. Don't know what's going on. think it might be utter exhaustion.

But yes, Dragon coming soon now!

Nasty, sounds like the flu. Any aches and pains with that?

Worst case of flu I ever had I picked up in Peru or Chile, I had the worst of it on the long haul flight home from Santiago. Got back to Auckland and then our flight to Melbourne was delayed by several hours. As if long haul flights aren't bad enough! I thought I was going to die that day ...spent the next 2 weeks in bed.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Great news on the dragson too, by the way.

Can't claim that one, it comes from the Andy himself. I probably wouldn't be that cheeky if he hadn't called it that himself.  :wry:

My wife is starting to mock me of late. Every week or so she asks me. " So when is this dragon of yours coming?"  " how big is it again? " " What that big? What do you need that for? "  rinse and repeat.

I am going to need it soon just to be able to shut her up !   :nah:

Another delay - Ian's wife is/has been in hospital having four operations at once. Understandably, this trumps casting dragons but Ian says he'll get me some next week. I hope we can get everybody's dragon out by Christmas (Lordy, how I hope that...)

Anyone seen the new WhiteDwarf? GW has new dragons/monsters out and they don't look half as good as Andy's!  Although if they made it anything like the cover art then Heresy might have some (but little) competition.

But surely GW are crap?
No, seriously, GW produce over-priced plastic garbage, or over-priced metal garbage.
I mean, when was the last time you saw an awe-inspiring mini on a sprue?

LoL!! GW produce some great minis - not to everyone's taste as they are quite stylised but certainly not 'garbage'... However, I am not a great fan of their new dragons, there is something not quite right about the proportions, which is compounded by the foreshortening in a number of their photos.

I've never been a fan of GW dragons. Always too cartoony, big hands and big bellies as if they've raided one to many dwarven ale-houses. The othe monsters look goodish to me. Won't get them because of the price though but it may get other awesome monster sculptors to make some, hint hint.

there is something not quite right

Always too cartoony, big hands and big bellies as if they've raided one to many dwarven ale-houses.

I could put a name to these complaints, but it'd steer this thing even more off-topic.

On a related note: don't buy a dragon because it's eight inches tall.

Besides it's probably only 6 and they're just boasting ;)

And I ran out of willing suspension of disbelief for GW dragons back in the mid-80s. Despite my near compulsive dragon collecting I own nothing of theirs after the DS3 horned dragon and similar.

I'm more concerned about the preview pictures I've just seen of the new Forgeworld dragon. It looks like they copied morew than Andy's Dragon's pose. It seems like a bit of a poor immitation 'though.
