i hate to say it but if you want a decent Goose thats what youll be looking at, they arnt a popular as turky so there less "mass produced" meaning unit costs tend to be higher.  and the taste is that much better, and you get the goose fat to cook with.
but Ive been getting goose for abought a decade, and the descion is that the price is worth it... ( YMMV)

amazon, tall, mix of plate, chain and leather, long tumbling mane of hair, lots of belt pouches ( of holding) full size long bow, quiver of holding, long sword and bladed gauntlets, ( the weapons were normally stored and mixed though use of gloves of storing, but they don't really show well on a mini) the armour would look similar to dragon scales ( as that's what it was from, we did a couple of jobs for a group of good drakes they made shore we were easily identifiable as there allies, it got  us a whole better class of opponents  )
to go with her, Brian Blessed as a dragon disciple mage , wings, very stylish mage gear, the kind of attitude that makes him seem like hes SHOUTING no matter how quietly hes speaking.

a pair of star wars planetry def troops, both should be slightly malnourished looking, in ( at least) 2nd hand blast vests, and helmets, one with a boarding shot gun ( big autofire job), a pair of med blaster pistols and a part of reloads for his mate who has the anti AT-AT misslie system. we were rebels looking for the cause, and never quite seemed to find it, though we did manage to get a dark Jedi by the simple expedient of unloading the shotgun at him in a single round ( no chance of hitting but he was kept busy parrying) then fireing the  missile into the starship he was stood in front of. ( the collateral and blast got him).
Norriss Bristle Whisker  Gnome ranger, ( i used one of the HF mystic kids originally)   leather armour, short sword and bow, his main ally was Boris a golden eagle that he carried on either a staff stand or pony, ( the eagle was big enough to physically lift him and my claim was that it was my less than smart brother who managed to mess up his first druidic polymorph big time, and got stuck)

wood elf combat engineer, part plate, part leather armour, heavy cloak, long sword, pickaxe / mattock, assorted baggage and rope/ rappeling gear.( this is a long running d and d 2nd-3rd ed charictor)
troll street sami with pole arm and gpmg, with a rucksack that can double as a stunt parachure for BASE jumping escapes in and around seattle.
near future/ Battletech type with "rubble hopper" gear, assult rifle with GL, a couple of LAW type rockets, possibly a sledge hammer or pickaxe, and his body armour and camo gear covered in what apper to be stuck on bricks, ( the suit uses the bricks to pump coolant through to break up the IR signiture, and visualy you cove rthem in colours simaler to the rubble you operate in so you look like a pile of bricks / cooling corpse covered in the rubble).

i thought phase 2 was "take over the world" or is that a couple of steps down the line still?
Just had a wonder through the new site, very nice, easy on the eyes, simple to move round, and the drop down menus act at a speed that means i dont need to be hopped up on caffine to try to manipulate them...

Evening all.
I don't know if any ones interested but its the International Plastic Model Show (IPMS) at Telford exibiton centre 12-13 Nov.  There will be lots of kit sellers there ( airfix, Revell, etc) and plenty of people selling bits. ( and usually a very quiet Forge world store). and LOTS AND LOTS of model clubs showing off there stuff.
A good day ( or weekend) if you can go

if you can get and store, a foot pump, old tyre and wheel and pressure regulator, is one that is mentioned occasionaly.
pump up tyre with foot pump, attach and set regulator on required pressure, use till pressure drops. repeat.  It does of corse take time and a good bit of space, will run out in the middle of what your doing, and tire you right out pumping it back up, but...

nope, they have BIG signs warning of spitting dinos,  and as it was lovely and dry, you could see the slobber arcs,   but i have to admit the 1st one was rather a suprise when it spat at the couple a few yards ahead.
