(snark mode on)   nice to see GW have worked out how to make an aerofoil wing (snark mode off)
it looks like some one described ( badly) a helo gunship and a jump jet to someone who's never seen one, who them built it. As you said Inso  the cheek guns are mad, why have them fixed when the chin has a turret?, and why bury the sensors in the nose?  It seems totally counter intuitive.
for the price there asking you could get a cheap 1:48 Apache kit and an A10 kit and bash something nicer.
Really really disappointing

she looks a bit Zombish without the pupil, which is realy distracting from the rest of a cracking paint job

i could say :swear: to all that but  ( wheres the shrug icon)   im gming to night so thursday it is.  Is it any good you lot what have got on?

Beefcake.   as i said in the "things that make you happy" thread,  sining up to a year pass for warcraft got both my wife and i free diablo3s each. so thats not the problem.
The fact that Bliz seem to have completely miss understood just how popular it is, is whats grinding my gears.
ive given up for the night.  maybe thursday

Diablo 3 went live, its only needed down loading 4 times and is now erroring on login so i still cant play.  If id payed real money for it i would by ready for a good rant by now.

Questions and Answers / Re: 35mm bases
« on: April 25, 2012, 05:25:26 PM »
Thats pretty much why i want 35mm Inso,  i want to use the base as the body of the Hovabought, so will want to add a grav drive under it and a low guard rail / fence round the outside with a control box on it,  i think 40mm will be way too big  hence the odd size.

Thanks Inso, that may be they way i end up going.
The size is from siting a darlek onto a 25mm round and 30 mm lipped base and going... way too small, still not big enough...
I could go and cut them by either circle cutter from platicard, or with a circular drill but both involve a lot of effort for the result.   I may have to ask some one i know at a nut and bolt factory if they could do me a forener.

Questions and Answers / 35mm bases
« on: April 24, 2012, 09:22:04 PM »
Im looking to make some hoverbot / transolar disks for my dr who mag, i daleks, ( theyll be classed as somthing close to the skeleton bots by a certain large company)  making the fence round them is going to be cutting wire grating, i intend to mold and then cast the inserts for the grav drive for the bottom, but i realy realy cant be bothered to make the circular flying bit by hand.
so the question.
Any one know where i can get 35mm circles  roughly the same thickness as 25mm mini bases, im going to want between 6 and a dozen, ( maybe  a few more at a later date),  id prefer to use just plastic but any material will do in the end..
