Sneak Peeks / Re: WIP Heresy Plastics Project
« on: September 18, 2012, 03:31:26 PM »
im of the outher opinion, in that i think Andy is better off getting as much done as possible then going to Kickstarter, for the final cash injection for the actual Pantographing/ scanning reduction and mold making, so that its a short sharp action, as I dought Andy wants it hanging round his neck like the dragon did.
but as i said above decent plastic sci fi troopers, oh yes!

i still read stuff here.  i generaly dont comment unless i have somthing worth adding.  mainly due to my attitude being " it is better to be quiet and have folks beleive your a fool , than to open your mouth and confirm it"
though the fact i can say that and not have several people "quote" it and re-edit it to say something massivly differant is one of the resons im a member here, and still posting.

reading here,  i havent found anything to complain abought, so im keeping me gob shut.

Announcements and News / Re: 2012 SCULPTING COMPETITION
« on: August 12, 2012, 01:11:38 PM »
ive got 2 done to abought as good as my sculpting will go, ( better than random blobs of green but not anywhere as goo as some of the stuff floating abought ( Hi Inso))  as far as picks go im afaraid that itll be send pickys to Sally when she tells us the e-mail to send them to, ( see my earlyer coments abought tecnology)  as i can just abought manage taking picks on the didgy camara, and attaching them as E-Mails, but im not signing up to something that i cant understand the posting rules of ( photo bucket  i had 4 windows open to try to do that).
hope youll all forgive that ( or give me anouther easyer option).
And as for multiple ideas on a theme ( Slethi)  as long as there not just straight copys i cant see them not selling, as theyll be close enough to be the same race but individual.
Good luck to the rest of you,  theres no threat coming from here.

Good stuff that man
careful there Inso, thats the kind of language they start issuing with a commision isnt it?  :lmao.
im trying i havent done much like this before, and certainly arnt up to your standard.  and like she is  i think just a little judical fileing to get a freman look, but itll be after i paint her up "proper" slethi

i can always grind them down.  or make them look like some kind of "weirding way" weapon but still :applause:

evan more amazingly youve made me get the green out and try this stuff for myself!

without the ears she would look ver much like a still suited freman.
when shes cast im deffo getting a couple.

Foundations  in the image of either a trench full of concrete or a big concrete raft are quite modern.
previously a Foundation could ( and was) a trenceh full of big stones or just a gravel raft, it gives a stable base that you can build on that will react the same to the pressure of the building,  If the hole building sinks it dosnt matter if its all at the same rate, if one end sinks and the outhe dosnt, its bad news as the building will tear itself apart.  As new bulids must be built to modern specs, they have to have modern foundations and will move at a differnt rate to the building there attached too, leading to cracking and problems, you can avoid this by doing "underpining"  ( putting new foundations under the old building)  but its time consuming and expensive.  ( can you tell i payed attention when i helped my dad and uncle build a couple of extensions)
