i always worked on the assumption that the scotia stuff was partualy buried ( Lincombe Barn wargames club had a load of it in the 80`s and it went fine with the GW figs of the era)
lovely looking Inso though it is a bit brain melty

 wo Inso.  Thats realy going to stand out on the table,  I hope youve got a good build up of enthusiasem though, as painting more that a couple of figs like that is going to be a lot of work ( ive done a Tau army in simaler to berlin block  the vehicles and suits are hard enough, but doing dozens of troops..)

« on: February 10, 2013, 05:01:24 PM »
Inso the assume thing i would have added that to but.....
I do think that theyve looked at what else is out there and priced acordingly, not just for vs GW but also Corgi metal collectables, and simaler.
i have to admit ive been slowly getting Force of arms warriors but the airfix ones are going to be so easily convertable,  so i can do the comand vehicles with the split door not the section ones with the single door, and then go maddly WIFF,  morter, SLAM, maveric AT,  GAU armed AA, missile armed AA etc

in metal..  amazing.  utterly amazing, shiney and heavy and oh so shiney....
Andy had the metals at Hammerheard today. so i got to have a look and a hold. ( it ways a ton in metal, i mean ive got one of Crouchys all metal Chieftains, and its heavyer than that)

Inso the box is plural  ( it says bikes) so im assuming it is at least 2.
Brandlin though its for 1:48 scale humans  so may be a bit  big for Grymn,  ( like that will stop us though).
there are picks of it floating round out there as well.
The Warrior is ~ the same cost as a chimera as well, so perfect for using.

and of corse, if we are spending the money on toys, were not spending it on booze, fags etc.  though evan at bulk its still not madly costly,  i found out how much a premiership tick was at crimbo....  made me flinch a bit and my ( wargaming) wife say that the odd bit o lead isnt a problem.
Though i will admit to being a teensy bit jelous Inso.  ( jan is usaly a bit tight as its car insurance month )
