Wouldn't the crowbar have the end pieces pointing in different directions?

Other than that nice sculpt with a lot of conversion potential.

Nice.
Seems like Tunnel Dwellers are popping up everywhere now.
Population explosion in a tunnel somewhere?

Probably the warmth combined with the rain has lured them out of their hiding places...

I seem to commit a lot of threadomancy lately, but then I wasn't around for almost seven months so:

Wonder if these could be used as blueprints for scratchbuilding a pirate ship as well, maybe even combined with the Chalk ship.

I've been through the startbar, remove programs, hard-drive, user option files and many more and found nothing that seems to relate to it that i can delete.
I've also already downloaded spybot search and destroy and ran it - found nothing!

Did you try the registry editor (regedit) as well?
Be carefull not to delete anything alse though, if you find something in the registry

Probably you (well, your browser) got hijacked. There are programs that deal with exactely that problem, for example hijackthis. I never had to try it, so I can't tell you much more about it besides that it is free, was bought by a company called TrendSecure a while back and that there is a site called HijackThis.de whith an automatic analyzer for the logfiles. There's also a support forum, maybe you could ask for help there?

.:EDIT:.
Downloaded, installed, sanned my pc and used the online analyzer- works without any problems (and diddn't find anything to worry about on my pc)

Hasslefree Babble / Re: Grymn creed & colour
« on: August 06, 2007, 02:42:44 PM »
Simply judging by how the grymn look I'd say most of the already existing ones would look wrong painted Asian/ African symply because they have quite european facial features.
But Europeans don't all have pinkish skin- so you could try mediteranean skin colours or simply tanned skin.

Could well imagine that there's different "breeds" of grymn, engineered to best cope with the weather (and other) conditions of their working places. For one simple reason: the better suited the slaves are the less trouble for the owners: minimal sick-rate, weather caused death rate would be low and so on.
So from that point of view there would be grymn with different racial features and over time (after they escaped) via breeding there would be all kinds of grymn.

Are those plastic treeman arms? Didn't realise GW did plastic treemen!

Maybe from those Dryad sprues?

Painting Eyes:
http://www.destroyerminis.com/eyes.php

On a different subject - Eyes, try doing the eyes after your first skin basecoat, white/bleached bone then a black stripe for the pupil, then you can go back with the basecoat and tidy them up, it looks like you are trying to dot them - this will result in premature aging and insanity

Could have sworn there were some more tips/ links to tutorials.

I think what you have done so far looks good- no need to strip the fig!

It's kinda funny how the close up of the axe makes it look like it was a piece of massive jewellery, you know like one of those pendant thingies. ( Not meant as criticism, I quite like the effect.)

.:EDIT:.

Forgot to mention: I guess you could also use one of those Micron pens for the pupil:

Looking good so far!

Maybe you could  add a red LED above the door ( no need to actually do more than glue it on) as a siren/ alarm thingy?

Maybe this thread could be turned to a bits exchange thread in general, not just for the DOD?

I've got some of the platformer bits if anyone's interested. Nice for a bit of instant detail:

No.2 will be send to gi6ers

Don't feel bad if you're not overly sad or maybe even relieved that she's gone- I think I would somehow be relieved if my grandma would be dead (I'll spare you the details) allthough I kinda like her.
That said: try to remember good things about her, good memories may be worth nothing in pounds/ euros/ dollars but are worth at least as much as any pile of gold coins.

Maybe add some rubble/ debris, paint the gravel greyish-blackish, add some half molten/ broken/ chared household items (picture frame, toy train or something like that)- as if he was standing in what remains of a burned down house? You could even have some patches of still glowing ground.

Suggestions (HF) / Re: Ammo cart for Amoy (b)
« on: December 03, 2006, 12:23:51 AM »
Well, being able to buy both (pet/ cart & gorilla) would be good, since there's a lot of potential for conversions/ dioramas.

zpgp- only if there was other zombified animals too (which would be nice if you'd want to create a pet cemetery dio I guess).

Why not combine both- a pet pulling a cart. Maybe a bulldog?

Not a proper suggestion, but I bet as game setting limestone/ dripstone caves would be nice (at least the terrain would look cool). Lots of cover, narrow winding passages leading to large caverns or underground lakes...

Those caves are often visited on family/ school excursion.
Try to imagine what confusion and panic a sudden attack of demonic creatures and critters would cause... Especially when the 'monsters' cause a power failure and the cave system suddenly is a pitch black maze of stalagmites & stalactites filled with strange sounds.

You could use the Zombie Hunters (might have to convert them a bit), civilains/ humans and possibly some of the villagers, Spyglass Dot on one side. The Black Scorpion marines as rescue team. Heresy lurkers, sludge gulpers, Spyglass munchkins on the other.

Now that's cool. Hardcore, definitely, but cool nonetheless!
That sentence just reminded me of something:

It's a computer case (here's a thread about it- a lot of pics though, so if you're on dial up it might not be wise to follow the link)

Heresy / Re: Ghoulies
« on: November 22, 2006, 10:49:08 AM »
They've turned out real good!

For the leader, have you considered using the Deathball Ghoul? He's got a few bits of 'armour' that would make him look different enough from the other ghouls.
I know he's also holding a ball, but maybe with a bit of cutting, sculpting and a few spare body parts that could be converted into a snackpack?

Questions and Answers / Re: Here be Dragons...
« on: November 21, 2006, 10:25:02 PM »
Takes details ok(ish), wouldn't use it for anything with sharp, crisp edges but its easy to use for bulking out and good enough for stuff not overly detailed. Just try working with a little amount first and see if you're comfortable with it.

If you mix FIMO and GS you don't have to put it in the oven- it will take longer until it's fully cured than pure GS though (at least with a mixing ratio of Fimo:GS = 40:60).

Power drill isn't really necessary but sure would make it easier (I just used Trollpower for twisting the wires, after half a meter it gets quite boring).
