When on the Heresy site scroll down in the navigation menu and click 'everything in one big list'.  Now scroll down the page there you'll find the 'Special Request' option listed right after 'Modelling Tools and Accessories'.
Just leave a note in the comments section on the order form saying something like badgerman deposit to avoid confusion.

That's ok, I'm used to beeing skint since I don't have a job. Besides that I think it's worth the money.

i changed the paypal message cos we had another spate of people who placed their orders late on friday noght and wanted invoice by 6am saturday morning.

I was just a little confused because the message was in German and said "Vielen Dank f?r Ihre Reihenfolge" (since order can mean different things something went a little wrong with the translation and I ended up with a slightly cryptic message that - translated back to English - means something like "Thank you for your sequence").

Who's allready awake at 6 am on a Saturday waiting for an invoice?!

If there's the possibility to pay for them next month I'd buy 2 or 3.

Just paid for mine (took me a moment to understand the message that accompanied the request for payment) and now my paypal account is just as empty as my wallet.
I really wonder how I'm supposed to ever buy my christmas present (the harem diorama) if I keep immediately spending all the money I get. Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time I don't get arround buying it before Easter.

I agree with fg about the eyes.
Something looks wrong about them, but maybe that's just because they look like bloodfilled eye sockets to me.

Libertee's Miscellaneous Musings II / stupid things when tired
« on: January 17, 2006, 04:02:24 PM »
Sometimes I drink peppermint tea. Once I prepared some and by the time it was ready I took the milk out of the fridge and poured some into the tea like I would normally do with 'real' tea.
Didn't taste too nice.

Most of the time when I'm tired I do things like instead of pouring something to drink into a glass I miss the glass and pour it onto the table. Or I'm misreading texts.

Hm, my life at the moment seems to be dominated by the screeching harpy who happens to be a real energy leech.
Just to clear things up and avoid bizarre misinterpretations: I'm talking about my grandma - she's got Alzheimer's.

Looking much better without the blue glow effect.

The pink pentagram would've fitted our christmas decoration nicely (referring to the colour).

Maybe cmon will restock the snakeman. If nothing else works you could always consider buying directly from dragonblood.

Werebears would be a nice addition to the range(s).
Maybe even two different styles: one more resembling a polar bear and one that looks more like a black bear or maybe a Malayan sun bear.

That demon dog rabbit thingy looks more like a genetic engineering project executed by a drunk scientist that decided combining mouse and bulldog dna would make him end up with a nice present for his mother-in-law (who happens to be scared of mice and also hates dogs) than a rabbitish creature.

That's just plain insane you could get rid of your teachers that easily and quite unfair. See, quite a few good teachers I had back at school had to leave for some strange reason, while the ones that were alcoholic perverts, fascists, religiously oversensitive or simply completely unapt to actually teach anything to anyone stayed.

At least I didn't have to wear a school uniform.

For some nifty verdigras (green oxidization to me and you) mix up a very bright green/blue (turquoise to them) and put a thin controled wash in the creases and around the rivets etc. It isnt hard to do and looks great.

I was hunting for the statue post to see how that was done but could not remember who and where it is, because i wanted to do that on the shield so it matched the rusty look of the sword.

Managed to close the tab before I posted, so here's the second attempt:
There's also this short article on brushthralls about painting metals.

[...] or chuffing whatever the hell is in the popcorn bucket.

Maybe something like this? Yes, I know it's silly but it had to be done.

Voted for a sitting one, would be a nice change. And has some nice options for dioramas.
If the seated version wins would the throne be a immobile thing or would it be caried by minions and/or slaves?

Somehow I think he would eat something slightly more organic looking, something that's oozing blood and is still half alive...

But the idea of a mutated snack servant is kinda funny.

[...] I'm thinking about painting Jotun as a mutant instead as  a ghoul...

It's definately the most fitting fig I have seen and something I've been thinking about too.
Still it would be great if one day somebody would sculpt some of the characters and critters.

Looking good! The green makes the skin & hair stand out a lot better.
The weapon might need some more shading though.

What I was originally thinking off was more like blended from blue to green and simply using gloss varnish for the shine. I wonder if a wash with very dilluted silver or even a little bit of nailpolish might work. If I ever find out a good and convincing looking way to paint things in irridescent beetly colours I let you know...

The rest is nice too but I really like the idea & execution of that base. Any chance of a close up of it?

Yes, I do. And it still is my favourite pc game (I'd like to see Marcus, the Sherriff, and some deathclaws as figs but that's another story).
