You'd probably need someone who has lots of Deathball miniatures to take some pics then

Best check that Weird West isn't owned by someone...

Wyld West is another option...you'd be needing to check if that's owned too

If I remember rightly, Ray, the fluff on the Heresy site says that the Fallen One is a hero who has become a demon and he's wearing bits of his old skin...

I'm especially pleased with his face

I think he's staying at home with me now, I don't think I can part with him

Is that a scratch on both bases or on the camera lens?

Mad Dog has serpently been busy, I'm assuming that's TCR on him?

Grant's a bit difficult to make out, but I like the fact you've done him as a black guy

I used a black base and then started layering up. I went from black to DA green, through to Miniature paints Dark Green and then a mix of Dark Green and Leaf (goblin) green

It still need some work, but I'm happy with the effect I got on this one

I don't know where the base is from, I pick up all manner of stuff on my travels and it was in my bases drawer

I'm fairly certain that the majority of the graininess on previous pics was me sharpening them, a bit more fiddling and I might even get it all sorted out.

I don't know what to do about this chap now, I'd love to keep him, but I also need the cash...

I'm just starting work on 3 more Heresy figs, but they're definately being sold...

 Dark Cardinal and 2 Hellbeasts

Then I'm going to see what else I can get painted

One of the kids from our local club offered to buy him off me and give him me back for my birthday

but, he must be sent to e-bay, the bank phoned me to say I'm overdrawn again and they'd like 'A chat'

Oh...and I didn't drybrush any of it...well, maybe a bit on the fur and the metal, but the rest is all layers and brush strokes

Heresy / About 18 hours work...
« on: July 05, 2006, 12:34:16 PM »

I think this is the best paintjob I've done so far ever.

I started him about 9 am yesterday, spent about 12 hours yesterday then had to put him away so I could sleep

Got up this morning and got right back to work.

I think i've fixed part of the photo problem, I've tweaked the compression on my editor and I didn't attempt to sharpen the pics.

Again, I think he looks better in real life, but you're not all going to come to my house to look at him

I'm really hoping people like this one

I'm going to paint McCoy next, I think

I've been working on a Heresy model lately though and the Doc has been left to rest a while.

Painting using pictures as reference has been really fun though

I'll take some more pictures later, I've deleted the other ones in disgust

I need to post this piece off today, but before I do, I'll try and snap some better pics, I might see what I can do by fiddling with the settings

Hasslefree / Good morning, Angels
« on: July 04, 2006, 09:38:22 AM »
Before I even start...I didn't drybrush anything on these models and the camera is making these look grainy. I need a new camera...ok, now I got that off my chest

This is a piece I've had planned for a while, Kevin's Angels. The poses changed a bit as I worked on it, mainly as Eve was being difficult and shifted when I tried to glue her onto the piece.

I've since added little laser sight dots to Ana's guns.

The camera thing is beginning to frustrate me, when I look at these in real life, they seem fine but the pictures just suck.

If the models look shiny, I had to matt varnish them

 Hope you like them
