Hi guys,

 one of the people I work with has said they'd like to try painting a model. She paints portraits already and said she'd like to try a mini as it looks suitably different (I'm in total agreement...have you seen the size of the brushes those portrait painters use    )

 I've been looking over the pictures on the hf site in the shop and I'm thinking Tiriel might be an ideal choice, the one where she's standing praying.

 I was thinking of an Alice at first, but I think Tiriel might be a good model to start with...

 Any other suggestions?

Pockets is one of my favourite roleplaying game characters...I spoke to Kev about him at BiFrost.

 Basically, he's a Jamaican street dealer who deals out of his coat...hence the name. He's got a pair of mirrorshades on, dreadlocks and a cigarette always in his hand or in his mouth.

 A long trenchcoat, preferably dirty and some manner of pistol, although you don't always see it.

 A glove on one hand, with little circuits on it.

 Problem is, Kev said Jamaicans are difficult to sculpt as the faces are a bugger to do.

 Still, I'll post it here in case he relents!

I like the fig...and the paint job

 There's a few hf mini's I'd like to paint, my girlfriend tried to get one for me and it took her a week to convince me the model existed.
