I normally go from black, through miniature paint's Umber up to Miniature Paints Earth Brown...that might work for you

I'm often hacking up bits of models and adding bits...
I considered entering the hf painting compy, but then realised I have very few non-converted mini's...
I think Sally has a few of my non converted pieces...
They are cut-able...
but I'll echo the statements of others...I nearly took off one finger at the first knuckle...mainly because I wasn't being careful and I slipped.
And blood doesn't look like TCR when it dries

Another half-time entertainment game...incredibly entertaining
Take teams of 'Splat!' ruled creatures (I had 3 kobolds, 3 kobold shamans) and one 'animal' - Baby trolls in this case, thanks to Carcharoth...
The rules are the same as normal deathball...we normally play first to 3 goals...although the game also ends when one team hits 30 kills.
There's an endless supply of kobolds or splat creatures to replace those that are killed, they just keep on coming on to replace the dead...
The end result is normally 2 very well-fed baby trolls
Trolls, if killed, don't come back on, but they do count as 10 kills for your opponent if he can take one out of commission
This game will be on at Salute at some point, provided I can replace the three missing kobold shammies

I'm working on a base at the moment, I want it to look like water running through some rocks...
Would PVA work as it's on a 'display' base and I don't want it spilling over the edge...just thinking PVA would dry clear and would have the right kind of look about it...
