Other Mini's, RPGS, Etc / Re: Raging Heroes: Funded in 30 seconds!

They look gorgeous  :notworthy:, but expect some serious casting issues. All those thin fingers and pipes, etc.

I agree wholy.  I've painted up a squad of their figs and there are some cast issues.  They are cast from 3d print masters, I believe.  In places some of the details get a bit undefined.  Parthvader and I also had a discussion about how fine the legs, particularly the ankles are and how potentially fragile they can be.

I hope them well in their future, but for me I prefer minis that are sculpted by hand, from scratch.  They just have that feeling of having been sculpted with care about the quality of the finished product.  Not saying 3d printing doesn't have any merrit, just my preference.

Ps: not too concerned with weapon, though a morning star flail might be really cool.

It would indeed but her left hand seems to be resting on something.

Yes it does.  But a flail needs a handle, and since she is at rest, the head and chain can just be laying on the ground.

So, I've pinched this from FB, being sure I won't get wrath'd upon by Sally.  She's a definate buy for me especially if she's only getting as much clothing as she's got now.  I've a weak spot for lightly clothed ladies ok   I would like to echo a few comments from FB, yes to long curly hair, please no cloak or an optional one.  If she is going to be a limited resin release dressed as seen here, then adding more clothes for a metal release, I promise to buy 5 of her in resin (maybe more ).

Ps: not too concerned with weapon, though a morning star flail might be really cool.

They look quite good.  Very clean sculpts, with lots of character.  I can see them doing well.

She looks great.  If she was mine, I would do a dark wash on her hair to give it a bit of depth.  Otherwise, great stuff.  Glad to see she didn't get forgotten about.

Very much the same as you. eolith miniatures, a ranger-shae, cleric-bude, fighter-sir godric and kagedar, Mage-kaylee, thief-Inge (even though she is a sorceress), I already have kagedar and a godless bude with a lantern.
Crazy close to what I'm doing.  Can't wait to see what you do with yours.  My Kaylee is almost done.  Will post her soon I hope.

789
That's what I thought you meant.  What were you planning for a group?

I'm not funky enough to be a Globetrotter, and I'm not Nerd enough to be in this thread.

I don't belong in this whole part of the forum.

Dude that is exactly what I have been planning on doing! Weird.

Adventuring party making?  Or ghouls.

Spiffy dog's danglies that is.

794
Yeah.  I haven't had a good look at the figure up close yet.  Except for the ghouls, my whole order was party members.  The party will consist of Mullet the leader, Brother Lucius the healer, Brother Bude the anti undead/anti curse guy, Kaylee the offensive magic user, Si'Rene and Shae the twin sister warriors and from Hasslefree, Shimmer the thief.

The ghouls are for my Mordheim Undead warband. :boing:  Too bad I don't have anyone to play the game with.  I've got a few bands to use.  Skaven, Witch Hunters, Sisters of Sigmar, Possessed, Undead and a few hired swords to pick from.  I've even got some special characters to use.

795
Got my Heresy order today!   Mullet is awesome.  Glad I got two, one for an adventuring party I want to make and one for down the road.

Those look the business :). Great stuff :).

@leadhead - the one on the left immediately made me think of spider man... so I ended up getting one just to do this:

I do remember seeing it, Inso.  I thought that it was awesome.  Maybe I didn't post that though...

I'll say, they're great beef!  The first time I saw the one on the left in the top and middle pictures I wanted to see him done like Scorpion from Mortal Combat, because of the weapon the comes from is hand.

Looking forward to more. :yup:

I need them if they exist!

Just had 2 BT vans parked in our road - our engineer arrived an hour after the one down the road and has just gone -the people down the road are having Infinity installed as well - don't BT look at job sheets surely one engineer could have done both jobs they are only about 300 ft a part !
On the bright side the other van is still parked down the road so I take it they are having problems - my internet is going like a ferrari on rocket fuel ! :woohoo:

So, sideways then?
