Libertee's Miscellaneous Musings II / Re: things that really p** you off
« on: February 05, 2017, 12:18:02 AM »
Snow.

Yes.  I live in Canada.  However, I live on the west coast, which means Pacific Ocean.  Normally the currents of said body of water bring warmer water up from the equator, which in turn generally helps keep the air relatively warm.  A cold winter for us normally is at coldest -7 Celsius or there abouts with little to no snow.  But due to some kind of schwacked out pressure system overhead, last night we got snowed under.  In this region, a lot of snow is maybe 5 to 10 cm and is gone within the next day or two, in some cases in hours.  We got more than 20.  It stopped for a bit but is at it again.  Keep in mind the warm part.  This snow isn't light and fluffy.  It's wet and heavy and slushy.  Makes driving a bad time, and of course nobody here can drive in it.  So there it is.

Snow.  We hateses itses. :tantrum:

Revision.  I like to see it falling and I like to play in it for ten minutes but then it's dead to me and I have to get back to work.

Wow lol, I really missed the boat on answering your question.  Sorry about that.

I was talking about services inbound to Canada.  Leaving Canada is a horrifying story all its own.  One time when I ordered a package from Japan, I paid for express tracked shipping, estimated at 5 to 7 business days costing around $23 CAD.  When I picked it up from the postal office, the lady who I knew, proposed an experiment.  She asked me what shipping cost and services were on the package to see what it would cost going to Japan.  Once entered in and tallied up it would have cost about $97 CAD going out.  That is my favorite Canada Post poppycock story.  That was also about 4 years ago maybe less and it has only gotten worse.

Ideas for New Heresy Models / Tunnel Dweller Options

I know it might be gruesome, but that's partially why I'm suggesting it.  How about a female-ish torso as an option for the wretched thing?  Possibly as a separately available part?

So, these guys were part of the legal kerfuffle letter then?

As well as the various nerd lord doctor types?

Over on the book-face place, there can be found a post about bringing back some out of production figures if there is enough demand.  I vote for this lady:

I've been wanting to get her since before she went away.  I think I literally waited 5 minutes too long.  I can remember going to order and she wasn't there.   I like the gangly demon guys too.

I also would not be opposed to the possibility of more lurkers being available.

Will be interesting to see what you do with them.  I must say though, that I don't like the design.  I don't care much for space marines in general, but I liked the look of the previous termies, particularly the helmets.  They made me think of badgers.

Well, I picked this guy up again.  Days past one year since my last pictures of him. I began by trying to deepen the contrast between areas.  I hope it worked without being too stark.  Sorry if the picture is huge.  It doesn't seem too massive on my tablet screen.  Which is where I'm posting this from.  I've scrolled back and forth before posting to check the difference and I think it looks good.

I'm going to keep Madame separate from the cult.  They worship the Tunnel Dweller.  I got a metal one from Ink the Troll way back when.  That's actually what sparked the whole thing.  I want Madame to be her own beautrid piece.  Beautiful + putrid = beautrid. copyright

I do like them.  Thanks for posting, and welcome aboard.  I particularly like your work on Eve.  She looks awesome.  Excellent warm tones color scheme.  They all look great, but she's my favorite of the bunch.

I didn't realize it at the time, but everything I pledged for was a gribbly thing.  Grubs, maggotmen, mites, lurkers, Madame.  I thought it was quite funny, when I realized it.
I just assumed you'd gone for a theme!

Then yes, yes I did.   It was all planned, yes. :paranoid2:

Another nudge to keep this thread 'active'.  Now that I've gotten my maggotmen and terror grubs, I've changed my signature to reflect the new upcoming cult members, 30 more in total.  I've counted 12 mites into the cult but haven't fully decided on their permanence in the group, so it may only be 18.  One day I will begin adding progress pictures again.
