I was at a local store yesterday, buying some parts and tools for my job, and asked how things were going business wise and such.  Early this afternoon, the owner of said store rang me at home, and we had a little chat that lead to him asking for my resume, in a bit of a round about way.  As I have been thinking of a change of scenery of late, I was thrilled and rushed off to tickity-up said resume and hand deliver it to him before closing time.  Resumes are about making an impression for the good, and I feel I have achieved that very thing.  It doesn't hurt, I think,  that over the last two years I have been shifting my professional purchases to his store as often as possible.  We shall see what the future holds.  With eager eyes.

Yes, it is good to see positive progress, and picking up momentum.  Although at this point in things I cannot afford one of these amazing pieces.  However I am continuing to send all my positive energy that I can, your direction.  Hoping also soon to be able to send some money for more toys.

@BulldogUK, are you finished yours yet?

Failing that, lots of bronze/brass and verdigris.  Check out leadhead's Cult of Inevitable Decay threads for examples.

Fixed it for you.

Don't worry, a new dragon is so far away on my list of things to do that I will be dead long before it could happen.

Besides, there are so many other things you must do first.  Like a new dweller and nether-peeps.

So, not being a creature of social media, FoD excluded of course, I tend to miss things that most everyone else knows about.  I was shown a video today, titled "Dumb Ways to Die".  Wow, it made me laugh quite well, and it gets its point across.

Caveman approved.

Today I finally got off my posterior and finished tearing down my scooter.  The crankshaft is indeed finished.  Before I order a new one and some other parts, I need to try and hone the cylinder as there are some slight signs of wear.  Hopefully this batch of parts comes in under $500.

REALLY sorry to hear that. I hope you'll recover fully well before the doctor's estimate. And please stop by here, even if you're not painting & gaming at the moment.

Here's to a swift recovery.

Great faces.
The shouldered gun looks odd to me.  Not out of place, a sculpt issue.  Probably looks fine painted but, the part under the barrel and above the hand grip looks like mold flash when viewed purely in profile.  Could just be the camera-cyclops-anti-depthperception-effect that seems to happen with photos.  Or is it just me.
Deff looking cool though.

Yes.

It also has a backpack made from a Critical Mass Games weapon, bits from GW kits and a jumping bean head :) .

Looks as though you've made your own votoms-like kit.  Quite like the look of it.  Tau gear doesn't look out of place to me either.  Makes me think anti tank or hard point elimination team.

I'm not sure you don't do this sculpting thing for a living.   :hmmm  Even though I remember seeing photos and reading your posts about raf stuff in Africa and the splat decal in that airfix helo kit.   :tantrum:

Really liking what you are coming out with here.

I played Minecraft for the first time today, it was fun.  I do think that I will keep playing it.

My job.  I get the feeling I won't be there much longer.  For some reason the head of the company seems to think I stand around all day and watch youtube.  Isn't it nice when people start rumors?

Hippo birdie two bees!  Only one hour left it the day so I am wishing myself a happy birthday.  And it was, even though I had to work.  Now as it is nearly midnight, I must go to bed.

Rectalfryer 6900, I do believe.

I keep looking at these guys, and although sci-fi isn't my normal thing, I like them more and more.
