Box of Heresy goodies waiting for me when I got home makes me happy today.  Totally overshines the fact that my day at work today felt like it was only three hours instead of eight.  A good day got even better.  On top of all that, the 'last' of the parts for my scooter rebuild finally came in too.

Ps.  I have a five day weekend coming up as well.

I think if I go slowly, and do each color in sections, recording what I do, obviously, it should be ok.  Like, start with legs, then arms, body, head and then wings, painting each section fully then moving on, blending in where needed.  Does that sound like madness?  It might be.  I blame this beast.

How do you paint something this large?  The self doubt has begun I fear.  I think washes will be the key, though.  If I can figure out how to use it.

I had a dream last week, that I sat down to paint him and no matter what I tried, came out red.  I don't want all red.  A bit is ok but not totally.

Been in a bit of a funk with this guy.  I've finished filling and primer.  He is ready to be lined.  Just can't get there.  He sits staring while I paint something else.  Which just needs basing now.  Must motivate self.

great stuff are you useing them as shock troops

That was the idea.  I still want to do crossbow troopers.  But haven't anything in the works yet.  Wish I had some games to use them in.  That may come later.

My back is happier today, and most of the engine parts I ordered for my scooter have come in.  I can get them after work today.  Woot!

My back is much better today.  Now I only have little things to gripe about right this minute.  Like today is Tuesday, I have to wait until Friday to get paid.

Progress here is slower I am afraid.  His head is on, as is first tail section.  Hands are attached to forearms, but not to body yet.

He is now freshly dressed in his primer best.  However, I do have some spots to clean up and fill some more then file more.  Then he will need another primer coat. Good prep is the first step in a respectable paint job.   I considered primering with automotive grey primer, but didn't want the smell.  Instead he got my usual testors white brush on primer, but sprayed through an airbrush.  Gives a nice even coat.  Now I have to wait and watch paint dry.

I hope it gets better.
Probably a stupid question, but have you been to a chiropractor or someone else?

Not been to a chiro but at the worst it has ever been I had xrays, which showed nothing structural.  Soft tissue issue I fear.

Having my own spell of back pain.  Started yesterday, found that I could not stand straight, walk at a normal pace, or carry much of anything.  Cannot really stand for longer than a minute.  Become a chronic thing really, comes and goes.  Been like that for a few years now.  Sucks much.
