Living in Western Canada, I would have to say move out here. From Alberta, to the Atlantic you get about 7-9 months of winter. On the south west coast of BC, a hard winter is one where the snow stays around for 3 weeks. Most of the time it is just cold and raining. Cost of living is not too bad, but depends on where you are. Pets, if they are current on vaccines, I don't believe there is much issue, but I don't know for sure. Plus if you move to Canada, shipping for me would be cheaper! Don't know if it would be faster though. Shipping from UK to BC takes about 5 business days. I have heard that the cost of living in UK is high. The cost of living in UK contributed to me buying my house here in BC. My landlord and her daughter co owned the place and the daughter lives somewhere in the UK, they needed to sell so we got the house for relatively cheap.
