I think it'll work out great.  Can't wait to get my next order in (but I'll have to as I'm flat broke).

Eons ago when I played 40K we didn't allow anything bigger than a Land Raider on the table.  You could have ten of them, but nothing bigger.  There is a point where more fire power just gets stupid and unbalanced.  That said, the kid with 5 LRs full of terminators never did manage to win against my eldar, or anyone else for that matter.  Got to be a running joke.

Back on topic, amazing paint work.

Ehhhhh... Some of the dwarves look really weird in these pics, especially in terms of proportions. Maybe I'm just too used to Gimli. Hopefully they look better in the films. Also the stubble dwarf... Looks like a short Aragorn, barely Dwarf at all.

I agree with you, but I'm still looking forward to this movie coming out.

I'd like to see goblins given thier due.  Set up as thier own force without big stupid orcs kicking them around.  A race apart from orcs not as some slave/distant genetic relation/cannon fodder group.

But this isn't a suggestion thread.  This is a 'hey, need to generate more sales or there could be trouble, just letting you know' thread.

But.

But

Goblins are orc children who haven't grown up yet .

ppppbbbbbbbbttttt! to that!

Not so much p****** me off, but driving me insane, the fact that my entire hobby room is in boxes in the basement/crawl space.  Still.  I still have to put a floor back in there and finish it, paint the ceiling and walls and put some kind of mouldings in.  Then I can move back in there.  Then I imagine I'll hit a creative block and go a different kind of insane.

Used, not abused.  First Heresy order in

I've been marveling at this creation for quite a while...I could never paint one adequately enough.  But I do think this is the best dragon model (mini doesn't fit) ever produced.  At current market rates, and if the price is still correct, in CAD the dragon costs $310 and change.  Totally worth it, I imagine.

I'm happy that the HF store is open again.

What really makes me happy right now is I am begining to suspect that my roof DOESN"T leak  :boing:, that the water that made it inside was in fact driven in past the siding by the rediculously obscene weather we had this winter.  Which means I need to stop that somehow. :tantrum:

I'm not a 15mm guy, never will be - too darned small

Well said.  As for the 'use it or loose it', I've been planning an order hoping to have cash to put it in soon.  Not cooing and petting, just stating fact.

neither of the above posts is true.

Proof?  I haven't found any, either way.

If you cut out refined sugars, make sure that you don't eat too much of anything that contains aspratame.  It breaks down in the body into a number of chemicals one being formaldehyde, the others are pretty much harmless.

PS I don't actually know if that is true or not, so have at it.

The ipad 2

Got no use for that, really.  I'd rather buy a desktop apple.

My furniture that I ordered on-line arrived today.   :boing:  Three boxes weighing 205lbs total.  Hooray for Ikea.  Now I just need my house back.

Well despite Canada Post being on strike, possibly getting legislated back to work tomorrow (Thursday, so working Friday), it has put a definite halt to my ebay browsing and bidding.  Been too busy renovating for otherwise.  My computer is even all packed away, have to use in-law's computer to post this stuff.

Talking/text messaging on a hand held phone while driving is now illegal in BC Canada.  I still see about 5 everyday.  Makes me wish I could wreck their phones.  Talking on a hands free device is legal while driving, I'm not sure that's much better.  There is a church in my town that had a sign that read: "Honk if you love Jesus, text while driving if you want to meet him"

A quite hefty young lady walked into me at the weekend and then proceeded to shout "Didn't you see me?"  "You're a bit hard to miss, love" I replied and beat a hasty retreat while she was still open-mouthed and speechless.

Simply brilliant, well done.

Started doing a redo in my house.  Pulled out the carpet, fir floors shot, back bedroom floor wet.  Traced cause to shoddy roof design.  Have to redesign the roof and put down a new floor.  Floor is easy roof is bad.

The 3 inch wound on my shin caused by an uneven concrete storeroom floor at work..............

"Compo!"

Yeah, milk it!  I once worked with a guy who got two weeks compo for a paper cut!  Talk about pansy @$$

Canada post is officially locked out.  Now I have to wait even longer for my toys from evilbay, and who knows what is going to happen to the furniature that I just ordered online yesterday.  Hopefully the furniature is being shipped via courier or transport company.

The biggest problem with the postal strike is that they want higher wages.  They don't give a #*%(&!^ @%&! that they are part of the reason for the cost of living going up all the time.  If they didn't make $20-$40 per hour... :tantrum:

If the bikes are a bit bigger than 28mm I think it'll be ok.  Quite often you see people with bikes that are likely too big for them.
