Our painting/hobby room floor has been completed.  The finish is supposed to be left for 72hrs to fully cure, but I don't think I can wait until Tuesday after work.  I have one day left of my vacation and I may start moving back in tomorrow.  Then I can get to painting my 'new to me' heresy tunnel dweller among heaps of other minis.

Join us or be cast out.

I'll be a cast away thanks.  I just hope Gilligan isn't here.  *Looks around for Mary-Ann and Ginger*

I only got into Elders scrolls with morrowind

And that only on XBox.  Had hours of fun and frustration with that game.

How small !?  I'm going to need a paint roller to undercoat the thing

I think maybe, detonate a four litre can of primer at each of the four compass points surrounding the beastie.  Don't forget to duck if you do.

On the note of getting things at great prices, I recently got a prepainted 1/6 figure for way less than msrp.  It's far out of production, and all the other ones on ebay are $100-$400 CAD, I paid $50, new, still sealed, minor box blemishes, came from a collector who had two.

Well this might give my mini addiction a good kick (good thing I stocked up first). Yesterday we went out and bought a new to us car.  We got a '05 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx.  HUGE in storage space and leg room and only 63xxx kms.  Got a good price, quite low monthly payments.  Hope its a good car to us.  Best thing about it is, it's an end to a string of $500 junk boxes.   :woohoo: No more head gasket changes in the back yard!  :woohoo:

As of 5:00:00 PM today I will be officially on holidays.  I plan to go up the lake to our float cabin, relax, finish my painting room, relax, paint minis etc.  Not in any particular order.

Tracking numbers for the US postal service.  They don't feekin DO ANYTHING!!!  What is the point of having a tracking number system if you aren't going to use it!?!?!?  ARGH!!  Yes a package gets assigned a number but it's status is never updated, even after delivery.

Rant over, going to eat dinner now.

stupid sellers who end up outbidding their highest bidder when they were already getting a great price.

There's this thing called greed, and you can take it an F off! crazy sellers.  My favourite is people who list items with outrageous starting prices and it doesn't sell so they relist, over and over and over, and never drop their price.

@Vermis  You've got way more skills in the drawing department than I have  looks good.

As for making me happy, three coats of paint on the walls means the next step for the hobby room is lay down the floor.

P.S  Having a short work week then a week of makes me happy too!

I have also seen people who have another account and bid on their own items to drive the price up.

That is against ebay policy and if caught gets your accounts deleted.

One more coat of paint on the ceiling and two maybe three coats on the walls, rebuild the floor, and I get my painting room back! :boing:

Today's installment of "Things that make you happy":  Getting closer to getting my/our paint/hobby room put back together.  Got the sub-floor fastened down today, got the drywall half-wall sized patch on, taped, mudded, sanded and re mudded.  Might need one more layer of mud and a sand to make it all even.  Next on the list is fill in the dents and dings in the ceiling and prime the wall and ceiling, then paint the room, finishing off with making a new floor surface, and trim around the walls and window.

This 'happy' thing has been brought to you by the letter 'aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgh!' and the number 'scream!' :tantrum:

Its not really something that makes me happy, doing all the work myself.  But the end result will be freekin sweet (and more affordable).  Then I can get back to painting the lead pile. :woohoo:

If only you had created them leadhead, then they could be called Leadhead's Dread sleds.

 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao :yup: :metoo:

haha I hadn't thought of that!  Too bad I'm pretty much horrible with sci-fi.  Love the genre, can't paint it worth crap in my opinion.  Unless the figs in question are skantily clad ladies   Hmmm barely clothed babes on techno sled/bike/cruiser/flying gun things...could be on to something here...

It's coming! MU-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!!!!  :boing: :boing:

Burninating the countryside, burninating all the peasants...

My dark brethren just arrived in the mail!  6 business days to Canada!

Great stuff, thanks guys

Has anyone started painting yet?  If not why not!

Yeah, wouldn't something of this calibre be put to the immediate forefront?

1824
Flails would be cool.

Made my contribution - just bought the Ghoul Horde. Hope it helps

It does! Thanks!

Makes me feel gooder about buying the dark brethren full coven deal then.  Too bad for me that I'm ludicrously impatient.  *sits on hands and bites lip*
