Things that really p*** you off.

When you pay for something and dont get it.Then get repeatedly told that it will get posted out but does not.

This is really starting to P*** me off big time.

Have been told to look inot the small claims thingy and try that out.Might be the last resort.

Hopefully the business in question is not one that any here are fanatical supporters of... :paranoid2:

You can use my pics of Inge if you want to.  Or the slugs I've got up, not as pretty as Inge but hey.

Tutorials / Re: Stripping with Dettol (and Katy Perry)
« on: September 27, 2011, 02:46:38 AM »
Well, having tried stripping with dettol, I must say it isn't as fast as acetone but it definately smells less offensive.

I let ten minis, all metal, soak for about two weeks in about a 50/50 dettol water mix.  The mix turned the cheap paint I had used to goo which was scrubbed off with a toothbrush and hot soapy water.  I averaged about 3 minis per bowl of water, and it was quite labor intensive.  Final product though was far superior to anything I'd tried previous.  Next time I will try using dettol, neat.

His face reminds me of Harry Canyon from the original Heavy Metal movie.   Great stuff.

On a completely different note, not really makes me happy but is kind of exciting: my town and quite a large surrounding area is currently experiencing a wind storm with wind speeds in excess of 100km/hr.  Not bad for the coastal mountainous area of southwestern British Columbia.

Nicely done.  I particularly like the looks on Wolsey and Hamlet's faces.  Wolsey looks hopelessly confused and Hamlet has a look of concern and fear.  (to me they do anyway)  While the other three look calm and collected.  Good stuff.

Like the ladies, especially the sexy tech girl.  All of it is brilliant work, but I've an eye for the ladies.

nice one- bit more vibrant colours than usually as well!

would love to see you paint something completely different (be it orcs in bright red armour or whatever else). not meant as criticism, it's just that i'm curious what you'd come up with when painting something far out of your safe zone colour/ theme wise
:metoo:

I think that would be worth seeing, if only 'just because'.

Thanks beefy.  I think I may have painted her last winter sometime, so summer was a fond dream at the time.

I do believe your 'speedpainted boardgame standard' quality is better than my 'all I've got in skills dept.' quality.

  Great stuff, especially for 3 afternoons work.

Heresy - Announcements/News / Re: Use it or lose it. Heresy's future...
« on: August 27, 2011, 10:57:44 PM »
I for one, quite like the new store system.  I find it easy to use and find what I want.  I think that the design as a whole currently suits Heresy's 'feel'.  I also sincerely hope that everything works itself out financially as I would be very upset to loose my new addiction, Dark Brethren.  My only grievance is my personal financial situation is somewhat similar (to Heresy's) I think, so I will have to wait some time for my next fix.   I guess that gives me time to wade through the huge pile.
