I can see a face in it, but the face I see is p[$$ed off.  So far I think it's sweet.

 8) Sweet deal Sally!  Got one for me?

You make me sick! You and your bl**dy skill and talent! How can us jobbing painters compete with that!

It greatly entertains me that saying something like this and telling them that you hate them, is infact, one of the highest praises on this forum. :lmao

Engine possibly spat a bearing.  I was on the sidewalk going into a store once and heard a toyota coming, it was quiet like it should have been, then it spat out a bearing on the crank shaft.  It started to make some noise and quickly got worse, within 15 seconds it was deafening.
It's very difficult to get around without it.

Does it have to be a car per say?  I run one of these as my daily driver.   Same color too.

It's Sunday morning, and about the only thing that bugs me right now is, my bits box is completely sacked and I have conversions I want to do but have no bits to do them.  I have some bits on the way bought on the 'evil-thing-bay' (they are already destined for use).  I'm bored and rambling now.  Time to go do something.

What kind of sound was it?  Was it a loud, fast hammering sound from deep inside?  Or a tick from up top?

Sorry that's the mechanic in me talking.  Crappy deal about your car though.  I have a truck that needs a new transmission (as well as a total ground up resto), I'll get one one day as the truck is an eventually-to-restore-classic circa 1972.

Got my fingers in on an auction for a batch of bits.  I don't need most of it, but I do want the crossbows (badly).  Also bought some other bits for converting a squad of dark brethren.  I should really get rid of all my old wood elves and eldar, haven't touched em in years.  Painted them horrendously, eons ago (something like 17 years ago for the elves)

Well you just have to hope that Retreads like that do them selves in and hurt no one else in the process.  Oops that wasn't in my head.

When people tailgate me like that then pass me, I turn on my high beams and leave them on as long as they are in front.  Immature, but makes me feel better as its passive agressivness and probably makes them mad.  I had a guy get up behind me and do the honking flashing flail to make me pull over once, I didn't.  He then passed me and flew out of sight.  A very short time later further up the highway, he was busted by the cops.  I smiled and ridiculed him to myself.

I've actually decided to try to use one from reaper.  Going to see how she http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/14083_G.jpg works out.  The wings are a separate piece so that's already done, I'll just have to sculpt :blub: a little bit to get what I want.

Well I've looked at them and the gamezone ones are good, but,  they're just not what I'm looking for.   :scratchhead:  My spyglass demon girl is looking to be the prime candidate for my purposes.

I have that demonette from Spyglass (and really would like to keep her as she is), I got her before Steve sold it all.  Totally forgot about gamezone, thanks peeps.  I was almost comatose from too much holiday feasting when I posted this question.

Still open to more suggestions though.

So what I am looking for is something similar to the 6th edition GW daemonettes, something that would stand out as a hero.  I don't like the current daemonettes, and would like to stay away of GW.

Challenge proposed. :silly

I used to use Nitro Mors, then I discovered the wonders of Detol (the brown stuff). Detol works brilliantly, and doesn't damage the model.

I've still never seen this nitro mors stuff, must be an EU/UK thing.  I am impressed with dettol though.

You could also try the hot solvent approach.  You'll likely want to do this out side, with a small hot plate (set fairly low).  Fill a sauce pan/small soup pot with water, put pan on hot plate on low, put chosen stripping agent into container (glass would probably be best but will depend on solvent chosen) put container into pan of water with enough solvent to cover mini but so that it still floats.  If you can't get a container that will float get something that will cover the pot of water so that the heat can't escape easily, you don't want to let it boil because you need to be able to get the minis out of the solvent.  A temperature half way between luke warm and a good cup of tea should suffice.  Let soak for however long you think it should take then take out and try scrubbing with a toothbrush dipped in warm solvent.

This is a greatly modified (for minis) method of one method for automotive/industrial parts cleaning, and as I've never needed to use it, I cannot guarantee anything except that this method is labor intensive, and possibly not good for your health, depending on your chosen solvent.  There is also the possibility that I've wasted the time it takes to type this. muahahahaha

drive while talking or texting

That's totally illegal here!! :yup: Not to mention fatal.  There was a local church that has a signboard out front that once read "Honk if you love Jesus, Text while driving if you want to meet him."

You should take the opportunity to break your dependancy. I live in a blissful, mobile-free world...  :happytears:

I never got the one I was stroking to purr, which is a shame because they are the only big cats that purr (apparently).

Cougars/puma/mountain lion, what ever your preference is, purr.  I know someone who was watched by one that he could hear purring, it was that close, not in any zoo either.

Those two cats are very cute.  My cat purrs for me, not my spouse, and she was the one who adopted her.

Today's things that p you off is quite insignificant but bugged me none the less.  Took pics of a WIP, put them on the computer, deleted them from the camera (made sure it was from the camera), then found out they did not transfer to the computer. :hmmm
