It qualifies/currently has classic collectors plates, which means super cheap insurance rates.

I am excited.

I am the pround new owner of a fully restored Postie Bike.  Like this.  But yellow.

Wanted one for years.  Coworker saw one on Facething this morning, told me about it and I called on my lunch break.  Went to look at it after work, test rode and made an offer, he said Deal.  Gonna pay him the rest and pick it up tomorrow.

Cool Toys / Too Bad.

Had a nose about some japanese hobby forums and gallery sites.  Seems that Bandai has a new grade of model kits.  You may be familiar with their Master Grade, of which there are more than a few kits.  I found out they have this Real Grade.  Too bad they've wasted it so far.  Filled it with nothing but that Gundam crap.  Why can't they do some good stuff, Macross, Patlabor, Votoms.  Nope, Gundam garbagio.  Does anyone even like it?  Yes, too many people.  Its a plague, like MLP. :soapbox:

Looks great to me.  I tried a similar color scheme once.  It bombed.  Badly.

Well done on your end though.

Congrats KB, to all of your family.  Best wishes for all of you.

Makes what I was going to post a bit bland now.  But, I finally got up the nerve to sit at my painting table today.  Cleared away some stuff.  Stalled DoD among it.  It's way out of scale with the figures.  Out enough that it cannot even be passed off in the back story behind the scene.  It will have to be reworked, if it is ever to be completed.  Haven't done anything since maybe mid September in the way of hobbying, except keep buying stuff.  Have to now get back into it slowly I think.  Started with something easy, but unrelated to anything else I've been working on.  Mutant Joe, who will be portraying the part of a short lived character in a great feature film.  I don't want to say more.

Congrats again to the Billings crew.  Making more painters, one diaper at a time.

Not going to have time to get even close to finishing.  Started off very strong but, life got in the way.  Haven't had any time for crafting in almost two months.  I'm out.

It has been a while since anything happened here.  Sadly, not much to report.  I finally got some time to paint today, only it is cold enough in my painting area, the paint isn't drying at a reasonable rate.  All I managed to do is base coat the stucco and stones.

Successful hunting achieved!!!  No pictures on here or anything.  This is a family place and some people don't like that sort of thing.  I am doubly happy because this is my biggest deer yet.

  I would call that a good start to summer as well, if it wasn't mid fall, at least for me it is.  Plus side to fall, hunting season.  Its 5:30am right now.  Heading out deer hunting soon.  I don't want to come up short this year.

Ideas for New Heresy Models / Re: Elephant Man
« on: October 30, 2014, 03:22:40 AM »
That is so weird I was considering sculpting my own sub par elephant man sculpt. I'd like an elephant man warrior. Great as a beastmen type ogre. I wonder if fenris might be more suited to this though.

That thought did occur to me as I was pressing "Post"
