I still think you should make out out of two landraiders.

OOOOOPS.  Was supposed to be 'make it out of' or 'make it from' to simplify.

Ordered up a set of the demon worms.  Had my eyes for them for a couple months.  Should be great with my Dark Brethren.

There are very few old Citadel minis that float my boat any more...there is just so much better out there now.

In my very narrow opinion, GW is currently best suited to providing conversion bitz.  I was having a look at the new skaven plastics compared to my old mordheim warp hunters...the new stuff is so, undetailed and flat looking.  There are exceptions though.  I just bought nearly complete boxes of empire militia and dark elf warriors for the bitz box (from evilbay) so we'll see how they hold up.

I'm not trying to offend anyone.  I hope that Steve can get some great stuff out considering the constraints undoubtedly put on him by the head trolls.

Back on topic-ish.  Waaaay back about 17 or so years ago (might be off there), a buddy of mine and I bought space hulk.  I was going to do a brotherhood army, but I could not get any cultist figures.  I was kinda bummed about it at the time.  I really wanted one of these guys.  Those times are gone now, now its tunnel guard time!  Dont' care if there are no rule sets for them, they're still way cool. My first painting love is still nekkid girls though.  Have lots waiting to be sexyfied.

Questions and Answers / Re: Cheap air compressor?
« on: October 30, 2011, 03:58:52 PM »
Never heard of using a car tire before. :scratchhead: Another option is, go to a local service station that sells propane or other compressed gasses and  get an old cylinder get it cleaned, revalved and filled with compressed co2 (because it's inert and cheap) and use that as a source.

I saw those pictures pop up on Cheddarmongers, and I'm really impressed.  The photos have a striking quality that seem to bring your figures to life.  Great painting on these!
Thanks for the positivity guys!
Cheddar,
Wish I could figure out how to make it do that all the time.  The camera seems to do it randomly.

PiG, did you check out the wip thread I have in the coloring in room?  That robe has loads of layers, more than I'd ever done anywhere before.

I hope to be able to keep this standard for the rest of them.  Next up will be a standard bearer and a drummer, unless I decide to do the two bearers, two drummers and other priest all at the same time.  Then it'll be a butt-load of troops, with one converted squad.
