General Ranting / Re: Has Anyone Else had Trouble with Access Lately?

It also quit working on my old computer about two days ago.  It gives a 'mysql something something something' error for a split second, then switches to 'internet explorer cannot display page' :tantrum:

I'll try rebooting the modem and checking firewall settings when I get home.

Was in Morrisons this morning during the 2 minutes silence - the entire supermarket went quiet and stopped what it was doing apart for one fat tosser at the tills who decided he was going to stand there jangling a bunch of keys and talking to his girlfriend - he even looked at his watch at one point and said "how much bloody longer ?"  He then dropped the keys on the floor and said in a loud voice "whoops !" with a stupid smug grin on his face  :grrr:

Shoulda beaned him with a can of.... beans!  Or something else hard and throw-able.

I am currently unable to access the FoD from my home computer.  I've checked on the various 'down or not' sites, one tells me its just me others say it's down and some say I don't have permission.  I am currently on my inlaw's computer with no trouble.

Anyone else finding anything?

Makes me feel all giggly and fuzzy inside.  I'll have to check it out in more depth!

I think its good to get the students involved, I just think it could have been approached better.

Both of my grandfathers were in the war.  One was in the navy the other I believe was a soldier, although I could be wrong as he passed away two yearsish before I was born.  My surviving grandfather still will not speak about the things he saw beyond a few incedences, most of which are something silly he did while in port or something.

Even though I may not always wear a poppy (as they can be dangerous in my workplace sometimes) , I always remember.

I'd buy 40mm Pin up girls.  Up and down, my style of subject matter, I think in a good size too.  40mm isn't too big to paint without an airbrush, but you can use one if you want to.

So, 'Yes, Please' :yup:

Yes, indeed they are all fantastic.  Plasma weapon is soo cool.

I am however, quite creeped out by Andy's avatar.  That thing needs to be on Heresy's Christmas-Greeting-Order-Insert-Thank-You-thingy!

Yep, HFH029 is her code.  I had an idea for a slight conversion/repaint today, so I may be buying another of her at some point.

Wow, this really has a tense feel to it (especially the fourth picture), as though he knows the enemy is really close by.

Great stuff as always.

Ideas for New Heresy Models / Re: GWAR

Yes, thread-omancy...
I just saw GWAR here in Minneapolis Wednesday night.  Not sure if you heard the news, but it was the last performance of their lead guitarist, Flattus Maximus.  He passed away sometime during the night as they traveled from Minnesota to their next show in Canada.  Not sure what possessed me to see that show, I'm not a heavy metal fan, but I had a great time.

Dude!  That sucks for them and their fans.

Right now, not having enough time to go hunting and/or paint minis irks me.

I'm down with the Island of Doom, I call shotgun on NOT being Piggy (no glasses or asmar).  I really hope that you don't move to the US as shipping from the US to Canada takes weeks, yet shipping from where you are now is six days tops.  Frivolities aside, I fell that Canada is safer, but I am biased, I have however been to Florida, and while the weather was nice, I need mountains and land with some semblance of being above sea level to be happy.

Gold rims and grill with graffiti would look really cool though.
