Bid on some old Phoenix Models girlie kits on ebay a couple days ago.  I got out bid, said 'dang, oh well'.  Bids got up over $50 USD, I said 'crap, in two bids?'.  Now for the kicker, and I bet the person who was winning is madder than me.  The owner of the auction cancelled all bids, removed the listing, then relisted immediately with a buy it now of $400 USD.  WTF man?  Is that even evilbay legal?  Tried to report item, they give you a bunch of set reasons for reporting something.  No where in their lists of reasons is anything close to what this person has done. :swear:  Its not like I was going to rebid or anything, its just a massively d0uch3bag move.

Nokia  :swear: lumia :tantrum: :tantrum: :tantrum: :tantrum: god i HATE !!!! the  :swear: thing AAAAAaaaaaargh    :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear:............................    I'll make a note not to get one.

Elementals were cool. Not intended to really be camo, I guess they kind of look desert camo though. I'll try to get some close ups. It was speedy work though not quality work.

Sorry that came out bad.  I wasn't calling your paint job camo, I was just stating that I was happy to see mechanized troops NOT painted camo.  I just couldn't figure out how to say that at the time.

Can anyone ID these girls?  I got outbid on evilbay and want to try and find them elsewhere.
The second is a bit over developed, but oh well it can be worked with.

PS pictures aren't used with any permission so if they're yours (anyone), can I use them?

The suit team looks badarse indeed.  I really like the color choice on them.  Do you have any close ups of one or two by themselves?  I'm not a great fan of camo, although I can appreciate it, and understand how hard it can be to make look good.  They make me want to play Mechwarrior 3 again.  They sort of remind me of Elementals.

No, she's not. She's lost the axe and has her right hand on her right hip, but apart from that she's in the same state, albiet slightly more dusty.

Succubus Libby will probably have bare knockers anyway, but why on earth would I want to make a 40mm version of Kalee with her ti.... Oh I see your point. Looks likw I'll have to do some research

I wasn't attached to her axe anyway, but I do so hope she gets finished one day.  Still very enthusiastically waiting for Succubus Libby too.

Be yourself, everyone else is taken.

Only the mediocre are at their best all the time.

Treat every situation as if you are a dog.  If you can't eat it or hump it, p!$$ on it and walk away.

I like the barbarian, but I'm not big on cloaks.  As practical as they are, I just don't like to paint them, and I feel that they end up hiding too much and making some areas harder to paint.  Is she a reworked version of if not, how is she coming along?

PS Thank you very much for doing a topless version of Hayden, (I bought 2, for now)  Any more topless ladies on the way?  40mm Kalee maybe, or succubus Libby?

Magnetize the hands so you can change it up when ever.  I'd say do some more highlighting layers on the skin then see how it looks.

Thanks.  I had intended to have something stand in as a dress, but lying on the ground of course.  The way his head is turned and the club raised above his head ready to smash, begged to be directed at something.  However, everything that I tried just didn't work so I went without.

Sadly Mr Ogre's engagement did not last once his fear of lacy dresses was accidentally revealed.  Terrified that is bride was being eaten by a vampiric garment, Mr Ogre's instincts took over and he wrenched his beloved clear of her dress to save her.  Unfortunately, she was showing him a prospective wedding gown, not being devoured by a monstrous fabric creature.  Mr Ogre was soon single, again.

How is BB3 coming along?  No casting issues I hope?  Is it the 24th yet?

Ok, they do look kinda cool.  But me being a fan of the westernized Robotech, part of me (small part) still says :blub:

Though I do have an Officer's Pod model kit by Ban-dai waiting for work.

B!00dy briliant stuff.  Love the nasty yellow robes.  I'm not liking my red robes too much now .  I was thinking of doing yellow when I redo my skaven warband, but then remembered that I was redoing my witch hunters with yellow (have a few done too).  Maybe the rats'll get orange, or something.

I just think they look cool and don't care about functionality.

That, after all, is really what it is all about anyway.

Happy Birthday!!

So, if these guys are "veterans" with missing limbs, but still fully alive and not on some life sustaining, insanity inducing, giant casket like machine thing from a distant wartorn future, and are much smaller than said machine, can we call them 'Dreadnuggets'?

 Isn't it the best form of flattery though?
I like the bow and arrow guy, his pose really suits it quite well.

I'll accept it! (as graciously as I am able)  Yes that pose does really suit the bow.  I might suggest, if I may, you may want to shorten the arrow (not that you haven't thought of that), then add some kind of fletching(again probably planned already).  It's sort of long and spear like.

COPY CAT!!!  Nice stuff though.  I like the guy with the bow and arrow and shovel on his back.

I took a break from these guys for a bit.  I decided I needed to paint an ogre that I had sitting waiting.  He's almost done, then I'll get back to these guys again.
