Cool.  Makes me think of Ram Man from He-Man, with a big soldering torch.

Sweet.  But I hope this doesn't mean that 'Salome' is no longer in the works.  Already coming up with color schemes.

Do not worry young man, Salome will appear

Got the two command groups and the preacher lined today, after the big concrete pour went down, and almost lost it all on one section of the wall.  But it held up after nearly falling over.

Excellent, bigger photos.  I didn't want to comment before because I had a hard time seeing the original photos.  I love this mini and really want to get mine painted up.  Deth's skin tone is great, very leathery looking.  Tax's skin is great too.  Female skin is tough, you want to have enough definition but still light enough that they don't look all muscle-y, unless she's sculpted that way.  Take it from me as an avid painter of women, hotties can be hardies in the paint department.  Great stuff.

Beautiful work has been done here.  I'd be proud if she was mine.

Good work.  And not the color I was planning on using so I don't have to rethink my color scheme.  Not that mine is coming soon or anything.

I actually really love the face and hair.  When I first looked at her, I said to myself, "who does she look like."  Then it hit me, her face looks nearly identical to how I remember an ex's little sister from 12 years ago.  I miss that kid, she was great fun.  The more I look at your work the more I like it.  I'd better stop looking before I throw all my stuff away.  Kudos on the bravery with blue, it's not an easy color to work with in that amount.

Are you going to use the blights in your cult. Over-zealous members that have given their bodies to the worm.

Hadn't actually thought about using the blights.  But I do have something along that line in the works.  Maybe something for the future.

So now that the flail squad is done, I am going to do their command group, the command for the pick troops and the Dark Preacher.  Who is this 'Preacher' you ask.  I decided that the Cult of Inevitable Decay (that's what I've decided to call them) needs someone whose duty it is to bring more members into the fold.  He roams far and wide speaking the word of the Worm and of how all beings truly only have one thing in common, death and decay.  His god is strengthened by the demise of all, and that all should devote themselves to the Worm and further His goals.     That's all I'll say about that for now.

PS They've all been primed now, ready for the next step.

I am officially ready to pour $1000 worth of concrete. :blub:  That's a lot further into debt I'll be going. :tantrum:  But on the plus side, I'll have a garden wall, three large raised garden beds, a wall down my driveway, and a fence with two gates next summer.  Now my other half will REALLY be pushing for a dog.

Driveway section nearly fell over

This post sounded almost like it should be in another thread.  But having that all done does make me happy and less stressed.

Stole 'em from GW Flagellants.  Unfortunately they only give you four of those per set, I needed 8.  Also part of the reason the champion has such a huge flail, it was easier than trying to find one more and it sets him apart.

Drum roll?  Nah.  Well after a very long time I finally got another squad finished, except for the command group.  This means I only have one more full squad of guardsmen with command, two other command groups and someone I am calling the Dark Preacher.  Among some assorted slugs and things.  Here we go.

There it is.

Wow, been a long time since I'd posted anything here.  Need to get pics done.  The flail squad is nearly done.  Finally.  Hard to believe I bought most of my dark buddies, summer '11.  Now summer '12 has gone and I'm still painting.  Good thing I'm not doing this for money.  I'd be hungry.

I had four visits from trick or treaters last night and I made sure they all left with a goodie bag of snacks and sweets. Yes, Halloween is overly commercialised nowadays, but even so, I'm happy to join in the fun. Hey, what would you expect from a guy who runs a blog called "Vampifan's World of the Undead?"

Valentines cards.

Had my best year ever, 11 kids.  This is the reason we buy full sized chocolate bars.  That and it gives the kids a reason not cause trouble at my house.

"FOD is the pre-school of the miniatures world
Heard/read too many things about frothers to ever make me willing to go there.  I'm happy here, and if that makes me a preschooler, what the heck am I doing paying taxes and bills.  I should be out eating paste!

:roll:Because it really matters to me what some pbbbt! on the internet thinks about me because of what forum I frequent.  I have better things to worry about than them or their opinion.  Now if they were going to offer some advice on a painting tecnique or something positive like that, then their opinion would be valid to me.

Back to business.

These troops will sell, regardless, I've no doubt.

But enough of my preferences in the women's attire department...
Indeed. You can wear whatever you like, Brandlin, and I won't judge you.

(I will really)
Pics or it did't happen.   :lmao  Only dressed pics though.  This is a family friendly forum after all.

Have you watched any diz movies in the las 20 years.  A muical number every ten minutes will kill any star wars movie.

That may be the traditional template...  But quite frankly it shows that you have not watched a Disney film in 10 years...  (Pixar films count, as does Bad Santa...)

I don't count pixar as being wholly disney;  they're too good.  More like Pixar with disney as a supporting player.  Didn't know about bad santa, but I've never seen it.

Oh... my... god

Like you say, Andy... it could be good but it could also be terrible  :blub:

...Mind you, with all the updates and specials and editor's cuts maybe it can't really get any worse?

Hopefully they do some good with it.  We shall see won't we.
