Every time I see this thread, I think it's about Archer.

We suggested the Jay and Silent Bob/Girls in Catsuits before.

http://forum-of-doom.com/index.php?topic=10860.msg177386;topicseen#msg177386

Still a good idea.

I would absolutely buy Jay and Bob.

People who offer to rent/loan me their equipment, and then act surprised when I try to take them up on it.  Are they just showing off their equipment?  I mean I did offer a fair rental deal...

Anyway, that's another business card for the bin, and me calling a professional rental house.

My favorite part was how it said "IN 3-D" which then blew up in a massive effect to reveal "and 2-d in select theaters."

I'm about to fry an egg.

I eat breakfast late.

Really the only thing I want is to continue to be as lucky as I have been so far.

I know that sounds overly saccharine.  My folks didn't believe it either, so I gave them a list of video game DLCs I don't have yet.

(2) may i ask why you can't use the grymn as IG as the Empire draws troops from thousands of planets,
(yes they may be a bit small but that is because they are true 28mm not heroic whatever that means)
could you not just say they are from a hi gravity planet like the old squats were that would cover the
    hight difference.

I always meant to do exactly that.  Then I kind of lost interest in 40K.

They were going to be one squad in a platoon with a squad of Kindred as well.

I get that sometimes but it tends to clear after a few minutes

Shot of penicillin will clear most things up after a bit.

Still supposed to be editing that piece, but instead I made rolls for Thanksgiving to take some of the work off my mother.

So many projects used to be written off in my head by "there aren't enough Kindred models to make it worth it."

Now I'll have to re-evaluate all of them.

236
Supposed to be editing a piece that is increasingly overdue

instead I am wasting time on the internet... which seems like it should be the most popular answer for that second question.

Nice.  Very nice.

I don't mind some minor re-design- what was cool in the 1980's is less cool now.  As long as it's true to the spirit, and this seems to be.

Vermis, I can picture the scene of that fat guy in the blue overalls with the huge gun... only problem is I'm coming up blank too.. but I have a vague recollection that he may have been towing a car

Strange Days?

US1 recently appeared in an issue of Deadpool Team-Up.

Of course, the crew of the Millennium Falcon are the ultimate Space Truckers.

Out of total self interest, I voted for more Troopers (I have 16 regular variety, some special weapons would be nice).

I still love the Goblins, so I voted for those.

Oh, and more Not-Who, because that's just awesome.  I have an increasingly out-of-scale fellow in a scarf that I painted (mumble)teen years ago that I could replace...

Doctor Who / Re: Doctor Who
« on: November 07, 2010, 01:00:01 AM »
I always thought it was odd that the High Council could bestow extra lives on people, like they did for the Master when they gave him a shiny new set of 13.  It does make me wonder if the Doctor can't just decide he wants more, and continue on, now that nobody is there to boss him around.

My memory is hazy but didn't Omega or someone give Time Lords the ability to regenerate?  Non-Time-Lord Gallifreyans don't get to regenerate, right?  If there's some sort of process you got when entering or graduating from your Academy that gives you the ability to regenerate, presumably the Council put the Master through it again.  Maybe the Doctor can re-create it or something.

Hamlet!  Awesome.  I've been waiting for him to pick up The Gang.

244
I really wish I had either the extra money or the need for a huge dragon.  As soon as I have either I will be buying.  In 20+ years of miniatures hobby-ing I have never seen a dragon miniature that compares to this one.

Doctor Who / Re: Doctor Who
« on: November 02, 2010, 05:45:38 PM »
I stopped being concerned about the limit to regenerations when it became apparent that in the new series the Doctor is "the" Time Lord rather than "a" Time Lord.  It was clearly established with the Master's shenanigans in the original series that there are ways around it, and Doctor Who is full of enough science-so-advanced-it's-magic that I wouldn't blink twice if the White Guardian showed up, waved his hand, and declared the Doctor immortal.  It was really just a matter of how.

Based on the old Master thing, I assumed someone would sacrifice themself to give the Doctor a new set of regenerations.  Could be quite a moving storyline.  Say, for example, Wilf returns the favor...

The Computer Zone / Re: Fallout New Vegas
« on: November 02, 2010, 01:33:57 PM »
New Vegas is the original Fallout team's game using the Fallout 3 engine (which is why it's still #3 instead of 4, and also not a DLC or expansion.  The main Fallout 3 and DLCs was developled by a different company.  So New Vegas is supposed to feel more like the first two, and is set closer to the West Coast like.they are.

I haven't picked it up yet... I had to pound through Fable III first.

247
or maybe more like Deadpool's pose.

Or maybe just a not-Deadpool!

248
Ok.  I made Pan Haggerty last night.

I think I did something wrong.  I'm not sure exactly what, maybe not enough cheese/salt & pepper.  Maybe a blend of cheeses instead of straight cheddar.

May try again.  It didn't take much effort, at least.

249
Oh and Pan Haggerty is my favourite :)

What can I say,  like cheese

I just googled up the recipe for that and I have a feeling I will be making it in the near future.  Sounds awesome.

How would you want Rick? Rick from the early books/comics or Rick after got, erm... handicapped?

Trying not to spoil it here, I know a lot of people will see this for the first time when the show comes out.

Thanks, not having read the comic but looking forward to the series, the above comment kind of ruined some stuff for me.
