Darn they are as lazy as my local council

Any thoughts towards futristic trends in cilvilians fashion? Cyber punks? barmaids, mechanics and MIB's  :paranoid2:

long hair...moustaches, sideburns..... lots of silver and gold maybe some reds too..... short skirts, tall knee length boots  tight tops, skin tight body suits, twirly worly weapon thing for self defence, holographic watches with wireless ear peice

Oi! :whaaa: I used to have long hair, and now I've got a moustache and sideburns.  What are you saying, grek?

I don't wear short skirts and the judge said I wasn't allowed tight tops or skin tight body suits any more.  Its for the public good, apparantly

...we do get chavs, though.
Is there a cream for that?

Yes.  They're particularly averse to Ginger Baker, for some reason.

sheffield S5 aka chav colony

My Dad grew up ont' Cross.  Weren't any better then, except they didn't call them chavs :D

Still, I live next to Stocksbridge, so I shouldn't crow!

Ah, you guys will be familiar with Patriot and the Wargeek Emporium then :)

Yep.  Jim who runs Patriot is a nice guy.  Live next door to one of my gaming friends.

Wargeek Emporium is up in the rafters of Orchard Square, and there is another one in Mansfield I think.  Bought plenty of second-hand nonsense in there :)  And it is always good when you need some piece of old GW plastic fantastic for a conversion.

I noticed just before Christmas that my Gen had been added, and I didn't even request it.

I guess it must be occasionally updated on the QT.

Nice one, OT :)  Like everyone else has said he's got a great comic effect!

The only thing that bothers me about this mini is that his blue trousers are a little too close in colour to the floor, but he's still great :)

I don't know about you but I'm not seeing the chain smoking kung fu nurse bear (voiced by Paul Whitehouse).

lol wut?
Be nice. Balgin is just a visitor to our fair planet, and has yet to absorb our Earthling ways. :

Okie doke. I didn't know if I was missing a reference to a British Dexter or something akin to that. :)

I think you were, but not many British people got it, either. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280259/

Happiness.  A British short-lived TV series about an animated bear and its creator who is having a mid-life crisis - mostly about the bear being more famous then he is.  Critically acclaimed.  Not hugely popular.

Edit: Oh yeah.  The bear is called Dexter.

good one keeper. but what god do emocons pray to?
 :scratchhead:

I'm not sure, but I think they have freedom of religion, so you'd have to ask each one individually ;)

I think the one above is praying to Kev White to get a finished Dragon :D

Suggestions (HF) / Re: Captain Scarlet
« on: July 15, 2008, 09:25:23 AM »
Just been reading this thread and although the concept is pretty neat and I love Captain Scarlett, I had reservations.

Until, that is, I realised that you'd only really need one sculpt to represent any of the Spectrum Agents! That could even make it a pretty neat painting competition as well
