Hasslefree Babble / Generic Spec OPs
« on: June 13, 2011, 02:03:47 PM »
Not sure whether this is the correct place for this or not. Basically i'm thinking of creating some generic soldiers or spec ops.

My idea was to buy a box of the Plastic WW2 Commandos from Warlord Games then use Hasslefree weapon sprues to modernise them.

Not sure exactly which weapons i want to use yet i'm thinking M16's or G36Cs but not 100% Maybe even some P90's

Does anyone have any Warlord plastics and could do me a photo alongside some Hasslefree adventurers with rifle type weapons just so i can compare sizes to see whether this would work or not?

I had thought to use SA80's at first but i think M16s or G36c would be more generic.

Cheers

Books/Comics/Etc / Hunters Moon by David Devereux
« on: June 07, 2011, 09:03:26 PM »
Picked this book from my local library yesterday and couldn't put it down. Excellent book about a top secret agent/assassin who sort of dabbles with witchcraft. Set in the UK pretty cool story deals with demons and witchcraft, brainwashing and allsorts.

Fast paced and I really enjoyed it

Suggestions (HF) / Female African teenage soldier
« on: February 26, 2011, 06:21:53 PM »
Not sure if any of you guys have read any of the books by David Wellington 'Monster Island' 'Nation'  'Planet' etc they are really quite good.

Anyhow in 'Monster Island' this guy is a UN weapons inspector trying to find AID's drugs in a Z controlled New York escorted by a load of Teenage African girl soldiers with AK47s, RPGs etc.

Could have a sniper, ak47, rpg as weapon options maybe even an alternate head could build up an army then
