I want to see what the Fodders think to Get the girl, kill the baddies, a generic set of fantasy rules here: http://andyhoare.blogspot.com/ as I've had a few goes with it and found it flowed quite nicely.  To be honest I want a wider, more grounded view of what gamers want from a ruleset so that I can give the author some good feedback.  I generally either have a narrow point of view on something or I'm out in space with the concept, hence the question  :drevil2:

Cheers in advance  :paranoid2:

I'll be there again, though I am working  8:::

On a happier note, I will be saving hard so I will be able to buy more toys!  :lalala:

I can whole heartily agree with the live life to the max ethos.

Lying in your bed, in Iraq, with rockets getting closer and closer really gives you a dose of reality and you think...is it my time?  When it isn't, it is a bit like being re-born.  You see things with a different perspective...

Agreed, mortar shells are no fun either...  Sally, I believe you can have no worries about those of use on the forum who buy your stuff, and buy into the values that you guys show in adversity.  Part of it is loyalty to the family that you make of us, and the spirit and strength you guys always show during adversity.  I just wish you ghuys had less cause to show it.  The fact that your product is great helps, and I would expect that, like me, others wish that we could buy more thus easing finantial pressures.

Keep as you are, 'Keep calm, and have a cup of tea' is a great quote.

I spent more than a few months in Canada while in the Army... Loved it, the Rockies and Calgari are favourites   Wish I could get over there again sometime  8:::

I really like the Trenchie sniper, it's gone straight on my 'to buy' list.  I also really like the female sci fi trooper, unfortunately it's the bulpup weapon that makes me think it's going to be great.  Just a note if you do keep the bull pup design, I think the look would be more balanced if you move the trigger assy and mag well forward on the weapon by two rungs on the foregrip just to balance the weapon more  :paranoid2:

It's all looking good, apart from hearing my wallet whimper...

I found out I only pay for my car insurance 10 months of the year  :lalala: So I proptly spent my 'saved' money on HF and Heresy modelling crack  :drevil2: (I should have saved it for food and petrol, but that would be BORING)

You can get an adaptor to fit on an old car wheel....then go to the garage and top up when the pressure drops.  A small wheel (Metro) would be cheap from a scrappy and probably last a week or two before re-pressurisation  :paranoid2:

Just a thought.....

GW's paints probably worked for their painters, because I doubt a pot lasts more than a week for them, and if it does dry up, they just get another one.

In all fairness I haven't had too much of a problem with the paints drying up.  I just keep an eye on the paints as I use them and just add in some water as necessary at the end.  The newer potts are light years ahead of the old impossible to undo screw tops

Playing a good friendly game over some (soft) drinks.  Makes for some laughs and good conversation.

Yup, nights will do that too you, banging out 72 hour weeks is just no fun, I felt about 80 after one of those.  Thankfully I've had some down time, and am ready for the next 20 with 4 off... 8:::

Sleep, Nightshifts and the Heat.  Three things that make my life miserable at the moment...give me fresh snow every day!  Oh, and to top everything off finding out how much 'Uncle' Gordy has knackered me in tax and the like...no HF goodness this month  :blub:
