Hasslefree / Fungus Folk (Agarix)
« on: October 08, 2014, 12:22:57 PM »
A while back, I bought some Agarix, planning to use them for some sort of dungeon game at some point.
Today I finished painting them:

Just a quick, simple paintjob to try and get me out of a hobby slump, but nonetheless I'm pleased with how they turned out.

Why is there no option for "all of them"?

Oooh, that would be excellent, Artemis!

What, thieves and barwenches can't be characters?!

You could do a nudist dungeon... But then you'd need nekkid orcs, and ogres, and hobgoblins, and trolls, etc. as well.

Ooh, I like her....

Still, I agree with Mr. Teufel and Gangrel, I don't want just any old adventurer models, I want Kev's standard of excellence adventurer models!

I've been looking through the fantasy human range lately, and noticed it seems to be a bit biased towards fighter-types.
Seeing Kev's talent I'd love to see more diversity in the range of his fantasy heroes' vocations.
I think he could make some absolutely stunning wizards, or thieves, or priestly types. I'd love to see his take on these types of "classes"!

I'd like Deunan and Briareos in swat gear, but would also like them simply in fatigues. In the latter way, they would be more flexible, you can paint those up in camo gear, as if they were still in the Badlands, in police blue, or in ESWAT greys and they'd still fit in.

Hasslefree / My Hasslefree paints
« on: February 21, 2014, 03:08:57 PM »
I just realised, I've been showing my painted Hasslefree minis elswhere on the internet but never here. Time to rectify that...

So here they are, in no particular order:

Dionne  (HFA015)

Once more, Dionne (HFA021)

Hayden (HFD029)

Zombie Mime (HFZ209)

Madge (HFA022)

Wolf (b) (HFH046)

Grant (HFA003), mini from another manufacturer (hope that's not a problem! It's the only pic of this group I got...), FU-UK Alice (HFA029) and Jess (HFA002)

Dynamic Tyriel(HFH024), converted to be a High Tech Templar.

You know, collecting these pictures has made me realise three things:
-I don't own nearly enough Hasslefree miniatures.
-Of those I own, not nearly enough are painted!
-Every project or theme I have mini's for, and isn't intrinsically connected to a specific manufacturer, features at least one Hasslefree miniature...

And it reminded me of something I already know well: Hasslefree Miniatures are the greatest!  :D

Wow, those are excellently painted!
The Hospitaller colours really suit these figures, nice.

Thank you! Glad you like her...

It was a bit sunnier today, so I took another shot at some pictures: front and rear
Not sure they're that much clearer though, apparently she makes my camera nervous....

Hasslefree / Hayden
« on: September 15, 2012, 07:38:28 PM »
I finished painting Kev's lovely Hayden figure today. Thought I'd stop by and show her off:

I wanted to paint her as a natural redhead instead of with dyed hair, freckles and all.
The base is home made, from Milliput.

(I'm stuck with natural lighting for my photos at the moment, and it wasn't the best today....)
