Thanks for the reply guys. Was looking at picking up some stuff from a manufacturer that has closed and they are the only stockists I can find, so may have to bite the bullet.

General Ranting / Cool Mini Or Not UK Shipping?
« on: February 22, 2017, 10:53:31 PM »
 Hi guys,

It's been years since i lasted posted. Life has just been too hectic for me to do anything with the hobby.

Thinking of getting back into it. I've seen some things i fancy in the cool mini or not store and i was just wondering about people's experiences of ordering from them in the UK. Would I get hammered by taxes and shipping charges?

Thanks in advance guys.

LD.

Sorry to hear that Sally.

I hope that little Luke is better soon. It's horrible when the kids are really ill. You're tired as it is, but then add the worry.

Thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that dragon, although I know how you feel. Lost my Nan to alzhiemer's a few years back before she succumed to old age. Don't think my mum is over it yet. Last week we burried my great Aunt, her sister, who also had alzheimers.

Very sad, but a blessed release in some ways.

All the best and our thoughts are with you.

It's so close now I can almost touch it............. maybe I ought to rephrase that!

Now don't start that again!

:boing:  Finally managed to get my sweaty mits on some cash, so you have a paypal payment from me Andy, bunging you a little more towards the Dragon above the pre-order price.

Brings it closer to what it is worth IMHO.   :notworthy:

Hope it helps!

@Vermis.
That's really bad. Whoever hit your cat should have tried to find you and get the cat checked out.
My mate has a cat who is predominately a house cat for much of the day (despite the cat flap) but we are always terrified that she'll get run over. Thankfully she is a scardey cat so stays away from the roads most of the time.

@Bergil All i can say is   :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Time to take the pone away? Or get the bill in her name and leave her to it.
